Comfort Inn & Suites

Room was ok but I give this hotel only one star because we had personal property stolen from our room while we were out. When we told the front desk staff, they didn't offer anything close to an apology or show any regret or even concern. Their only response was: well, we asked the cleaning crew and they didn't see anything. Duh. It probably was the cleaning crew. No one else had access. If the staff had shown any thing like concern it might be different but they were simply not interested to hear that we had a couple of hundred bucks of property stolen. My advice: there are probably better hotels and definitely better hotel staffs in Rapid City. Why take the risk with this one?

After a day visiting with family and sightseeing we could not really relax because there were children in the room above us that ran for hours. If I go again I wll make sure I'm on the top floor.

Very nice hotel, friendly staff, nice and clean room, and a great breakfast.

Good service, very clean rooms, the kids had a ball in the pool even though there were no slides, etc. My husband and I enjoyed the jacuzzi; however, their sauna does not work, which was a bummer to my hubby. We came here during the Sturgis Rally and knew it would be crowded and a little noisy. I have to say, we had a wonderful experience with the hotel itself and their staff. Even the guests (even though a tad noisy the first night) were friendly and very helpful when our son went sleepwalking at 3:00 am on our second night. Thank you so much to the lady in 310. You kept our son safe, and may the Lord bless you and comfort you. This lady just lost her husband that weekend during the Rally. I've thought of her often since our meeting that night and the next morning during breakfast. It was a wonderful experience to meet you and I know your husband is watching over you. My husband and I thank you again from the bottom of our hearts for being our son's guardian angel that night, and I hope you get a chance to read this. So, do I recommend this hotel? Absolutely!! I have to say that this has been one of our best experiences in a hotel ever!

Stayed at the hotel for Sturgis Rally, front desk manager was friendly and let me check in early. Great free parking for cars, trailers, and bikes. Room was cleaned well, and fast. Free daily newspapers provided.

The hotel was very clean and neat, the breakfast was good food, and lots of it. We were happy with the location and the staff was always nice and helpful.

traveling by myself to see South Dakota tourist spots. GREAT LOCATION!!! about 1 hr or less drive to all the hot spots (Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Black Hills, Badlands, Jewel Cave, Wind Cave, Mammoth Site) all of which I did in 4 days, one more day would have allowed for Deadwood and Devils Tower, WY. I have food allergies (wheat&dairy) so breakfast buffet did not work for me, for most folks it would be fine. Could have used a refrig int he room.

The only thing I didnt like was at checkout I found out that it would have been over two hundred dollars cheaper to book thru the hotel rather than thru cheap tickets

My father, Richard Levy, and I went to my brother's ordaination and then stayed to visit the sights. Although the weather was unforgiving, we had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the area and the people. Our stay at your hotel was very nice and we were treated very well. When we told the desk about the amount of noise above us, they took care of it properly and promptly. That was much appreciated it. We would definitely stay there again if we went back to Rapid City.
