OK for one nite
Stayed for one night while on road trip. Staff was the highlight, courteous and friendly. Got special rate and subpar room. Freight train tracks literally sixty to seventy feet in back of property where our room was. Several times during night, major trains barreled thru! Hotel attached to water park. Great for kids, not so great for chlorine odor. But we were so tired, very little phased us. General thought: you get what you pay for.

great family hotel
I was only in town for work, so i wasn't in the room much, but from the time i was there it was everything you'd expect from a hotel. Was clean and quiet. Staff was very helpful. Waterpark looked great for kids to enjoy.

Great Fun, Mostly Great Space
We decided at this hotel mainly because of the waterpark and restaurant features. The beds were great and the experience was an awesome one. We were a bit disappointed in the lack of a refrig and micro in our room. We stayed a in a basic 2 queen room and I guess the appliances are only found in the king rooms or suites? Also, for the price the bathroom and other room decor--minus the very large TV--were average. The breakfast was also very basic with all waffles as a hot option. However, the beds were AMAZINGLY comfy.

Nice stay
Very nice hotel, nice rooms, not huge for a family of 6, but very nice. Great beds, comfortable for someone with a bad back as I have, nice bedding and great pillows. Had lots of fun with kids in waterpark.

Great Place
This was a very good location for being able to get to the major attractions. We went to Custer State Park, Mt. Rushmore, The Badlands, Wall Drugs, Needles Hwy. It was also the best location for the airport.

Nothing to write home about
Luckily, we were not in our hotel room during our stay in Rapid City, as there are so many sights to see in the area. The staff at the desk was dismissive and rude when rooms were not ready at the 4 o'clock check-in time and the lobby was full of travelers. Our room was not ready until 4:45 and nothing was offered for the inconvenience...not even coffee. The walls in the rooms are so thin that you can hear the actual words of conversations in the adjoining rooms. At night, you have to run the fan on high to avoid hearing babies crying, kids playing, TV's blaring, ETC. Those of you with children, the hotel charges $17 per person to use the waterpark and pool area. There is no complementary pool for pool guests. Thankfully, the natural beauty of the area makes up for what this hotel lacks.

It was good
The hotel was nice the rooms were nice too just kind of small. It is connected to a great water park and if you have kids that love water as we do it is well worth it.
