A Night's Stay
The room was very small and discomforting. The bed's were hard as rock. The air was very dry and humid in the room. The air control (AC/Heat) sucked. The hallways to the rooms were tiny and reaked of cigarrette smoke badly. If your looking for a cheap stay in Rapid City, SD do stay here because thats exactly what you'll get.

Just ok
Amazing what another color of paint would have done for the rooms green walls and blue bathroom fixtures . . . . ugh .. . breakfast bar could offer just a little more . . . glad I didn't pay anymore than I did or have to spend any more time than I did there. was on the lower level and struggled to get Wifi. Would have been better to pay $10 and got a better location/nicer motel, kids jumping off beds above me at 7 a.m. . . . lots of noise!

good value for the price
I choose the hotel for the price. I had enough rest, just basic in the room – no fridge, no skin lotion or hair conditioner, but I had coffee maker, breakfast was standard – toasts, donuts, cereal and apple, one day English muffins, but not the following days. It is a good location for traveling to Keywood and Mount Rushmore.

Best deal for the price !
The room was perfect for my wife and me. For the price couldn't have asked for more. Breakfast was also included in the price. Overall the stay was pleasant and hotel staff were friendly.

Haywood
bottom feeder
Relegated to smoking room, nearly needed nicotine patch to recover, used fans all night to no avail. Staff made it clear to us that because we booked on-line, the garden level smoker's hell was all we got. Also, despite claims in posting, the wifi does not work in the smoker's hell building, staff at desk confirmed this is known to them. In retrospect sleeping in the car may have been better. I was stationed at Ellsworth AFB two years and yearned for the barracks! Also avoid Smiley's a sports bar wanna-be just a short walk away.

Got what I paid for
Room was clean. Nothing fancy. Breakfast pretty good. Good if you need a place to sleep. Close to places to eat.

superstay
Really Bad
Vacation to visit Rushmore. Room had a smell and was not cleaned. compare to price they had charged , facilities were not up the mark.
