Great stay...get the right room
We booked late and got a bunk room which is good for two....we had three. The rooms are small, then again this is a paddlewheeler and not a motel.. The beds are comfortable and the lounges are very picturesque. They even have wifi in a couple of the lounges. Great staff. Great breakfast. Great location...felt very safe and close to everything.

Romantic get-a-way.
Beautiful experience. The staff is friendly and went out of their way to make our stay great. Our only disappointment was that there was not a grand dining room. I have traveled on the Mississippi Queen and wanted to compare with the DQ.

Staying on the Delta Queen
We were traveling through Chattanooga and decided the day before to stay and spend the evening. I had seen the Delta Queen for many years along the Ohio and Mississippi rivers and was intrigued to have a chance to stay there. All of our top room choices were already booked (Saturday night of 4th of July weekend), but we were able to get a room with 2 twins. We pushed them together and walked around downtown Chattanooga, which was very convenient with much nightlife and daytime activities in Chattanooga. Hotel service was very nice, although a little novice. Our stay was great and the experience worth having. I would do it again and will plan ahead next time.

Great!
We had a great time staying on a bit of history. The staff was awesome. They went the extra mile especially [...] and [...]. We will definitely stay again but stay in a regular suite instead of the bunk cabin.

A GREAT Grand Lady!!!
This 80 year old sternwheeler is now a floating hotel. There is so much history on this wonderful boat and we always love our stays on her. Now, this is NOT a modern hotel & the boat has it's quirks, but that is just part of her charm. She is a one of a kind and will definitely return.

Romantic Getaway
The room was small, but quaint--typical for being on a steam boat. Fantastic breakfast served in the morning. Very nice setting.

Bygone Era
For fall break two empty nesters hit the road and part of the adventure was staying at the Delta Queen hotel. First off - if you are going to be upset that there is no TVs, you better find somewhere else. This is like stepping back in time. If you would like some of the "Back-story" here it is: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Delta_Queen The linens were comfortable, the shower small but functional, the included breakfast was actually very good. The take out dinner (from North Side Grill which was within walking distance) we had on the deck was a special moment. In the morning we left our bags and car (Free valet parking) at the hotel and went to the acquarium and IMAX across the river. We grabbed some chocolates at Rembrandts in the art district and had tea on the back deck watching a sunset over the mountains. Sadly it all ended and we headed up home, but look forward to brining friends and family here in the future. Once again if you want a large modern hotel room with TV, this is not the place...if you want a touch of history from a bygone era welcome aboard!
