Econo Lodge Inn & Suites

The staff was friendly, but the hotel is very dated and grimy. I would drive past this hotel and spend the extra money at another hotel.

We didn't pay much, so we didn't expect a resort. It was perfect for what we needed. The room was shabby, but it was clean, had a good TV, comfy bed, toilet and tub worked, A/C didn't go on and off like some do. The breakfast bar was fantastic for what we paid. Easy access to Interstate and to Union University.

Hotel is a bit old and needs some repairs. Things like exposed wires on laps. Pool needs work in it too, didn't look very clean, but overall for the price was good nights sleep.

The refrigerator and microwave were an added bonus. Would have loved patio furniture to use to sit out on a pleasant evening. The location was perfect for access to Casey Jones Village.

Just a night's sleep and early breakfast and away we went.

HEED ALL BAD REVIEWS - This place is really dirty. I failed to see any of the reviews that shed a negative light on this place, and made the mistake of booking a room...please dont do the same as I. This Econo Lodge is terribly filthy. My bathroom had black mold on the ceiling. I had new white socks on, and after walking on the nasty carpet the bottom of the socks were totally black. I do not believe they clean rooms at all between customers. The room was so humid and damp, the sheets stuck to my body. The sheets did not fit the bed, and the blanket and bedspread looked as if they were not changed since the Clinton administration. I had to go to the store for some disinfectant to wipe down everything that I would touch with any part of my body. Also very hard to get out into northbound US 45...cant make a left turn even though there is a traffic signal...you must turn right then attempt a U turn into the very busy traffic that is mostly made up of inconsiderate Jackson drivers. The hotel is NOT white as the pictures show, it is a putrid orange color.

Fairly good hotel. Alot nicer than the same ole same ole. Better breakfast than most, not just bagels and cereal. They actually had boiled eggs, yogurt, fresh fruit,waffels and biscuits and gravy. The pool was a descent size although there where some ants.The staff was very friendly and helpful. I have stayed at six of the other hotels in Jackson TN and non of them even come close to comparing to this one. It's a great hotel for the price.

I would probably stay there again if I had to..maybe..but I was on a secluded hall in a room that had not been used in a very long time...when I first turned the water on.it was brown..because of the rust. The staff was extremely friendly though and they have a huge hot breakfast...not just bagles.
