Fantastic Game Day
This was a great hotel. Close to everything. Close enough to Neyland Stadium which was our destination this trip. We could check in early as a room was ready, so we could deposit our luggage, have lunch and still make it in time for the "VOL WALK". We loved it. Bed was so comfortable we slept through breakfast!!!!!

LA QUINTA INN, STRAWBERRY PLAINS, KNOXVI
THIS HOTEL IS ONE OF THE BEST WE HAVE STAYED IN OVER THE LAST 2 VACATIONS WE TOOK 2 YRS AGO. THE ROOM WAS VERY CLEAN, COMFORTABLE BED THE VIEW FROM OUR SIDE WAS THAT OF NATURE, FALL COLORS AND COWS. ALLOWED PETS AND SMOKING WHICH IS VERY IMPORTANT TO US. THE STAFF WAS VERY COURTEOUS, FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. INDOOR POOL AND FITNESS ROOM. ALSO FREE BREAKFAST OF YOUR CHOICE FROM EGGS, WAFFLES OR CERAL. VERY PLEASANT EXPERIENCE.

Dad Visiting His Kids
La Quinta Knoxville/Strawberry Plains TN
The front desk clerk was very accomodating considering I pulled into the hotel at 1am in the morning. As the indoor pool doesn't stay open 24 hours, she offered (and delivered) to open the pool for me for my 530am exercise routine. The breakfast was good. Overall very good stay. Would recommend this hotel.

Short drive from hotel
Try Litton's in Fountain City (just inside Knoxville proper). Great hamburgers and a dessert case like no other. Very popular with the locals. So there may be a wait. A Knoxville favorite. Price $$$ - it is a little pricey. But worth it to me.

Nice hotel overall
We were traveling through on vacation. The rooms were clean and appeared recently updated. Unfortunately, the mattresses were worn and should be replaced. We felt like we were tipped into the center with two people on bed. The tv schedule had HBO listed with an HBO schedule available in room but no HBO could be found on the tv. The hot breakfast was good but, could've used some yogurt on the menu.

Nice stop on way to Fla or Smokey's
The room was very typical, sink was on outside of bathroom. I guess that helps speed things up. All in all above average cleanliness. Pool was ok, but no clock and hot tub seemed a bit greenish. Pretty much chaos at the breakfast bar around 8AM with inadequate staffing to clean and refill food items. Workout room has only 3 machines and there was a computer in the business center if you wantyed to have computer access. Plenty of food and gas choices in this pit stop off of I 40.
