Charged twice
This is a old hotel. I booked it online but was charged again for the same room when I checked in but for a cheaper rate. I now have to straighten out the double charge.

Nasty
The room was awful, dirty ring around the bath tub, hair in the bed ( I'm bald ), the whole place is run down and unkept. I didnt even sleep there, I drove home that night, lost the money I paid for the room.

Lack of Communication?
We decided to take an impromptu trip to Tennessee to drive on some well known motorcycle routes. To ensure that we would have a room available on the busy Memorial Day weekend we reserved a room Friday evening on [...]and paid for it with a credit card as required. Upon arriving at our destination Saturday afternoon they had not received our reservation from [...]or receipt of payment. As a result, we did not receive our 'reserved' king size room, we had to use our credit card again (I'm sure that will be fun to rectify) and we were glad that they had a room available as it would have been difficult to spend the night on a motorcycle. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful but they were not technologically advanced. [...]
