correct price/value

Good contact with the personnel, correct for the price. The really bad point to avoid: the smoking rooms smell very strongly, impossible to sleep

Nice place, convenient location

Great location- convenient to Vanderbilt, West End and Hillsboro Village. The room was nice and the staff was friendly. It would have been nice if there were a pool, though, especially traveling in the summer. Overall, fine experience.

Anniversary Getaway

Enjoyable stay. Nothing fancy but comfortable which is all we needed. Very courteous staff. Great location in great part of Nashville. Conveniently located to the concert we attended at Bridgestone Arena. Would stay there again.

As expected

This hotel was exactly as you would expect, bare bones, with a kitchenette. The room was moderately sized and clean. There were no amenities to speak of, but none were expected. The front desk staff was courteous and professional. The location of the hotel is ideal if you are going to be spending time on Vanderbilt's campus. You can easily walk to campus and the dining/entertainment options that surround the campus. Downtown is a 3 mile drive away, but is accessible by bus and cab. Safety was not an issue.

Ugh

Hotel reservation was for two double beds, which ESA-Nashville Vanderbilt did not have despite checking in at a reasonable hour. [...]The ESA staff were incompetent and unhelpful. I could not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Stay was very enjoyable. Great location. Room very clean and comfortable. Price was very resonable. Would like to have had an ice machine available is the only thing I missed. Overall was very pleased.

Good Price for the money

I visit Nashville pretty regularly (about once every six weeks). The hotel was great for the price. For those who have never been to Nashville, anything on West End Ave. is usually pretty good. I have stayed at other hotels and this one was the best for the money. It had a kitchenette with every you would need: fridge, microwave, stove, sink, dishes, etc.

nothing short of AWESOME

i'd only been to nashville briefly before, usually with a distinct location i needed to be out and then on my way back to Memphis. west end ave is a GREAT location- there is the college, tons of places to eat and shop, centennial park (housing the parthenon), all of which are in walking distance. albeit, i heard sirens only once or twice and the street is busy, but it also holds a lot of the nite life, especially for the short drive downtown (mere blocks away). the next time i return to nashville for leisure, i'm insisting we stay here again.

Nightlife tip: Not Applicable

if you are young or have a very active night lifestyle, this location is perfect. however, because the college is practically next door, you will encounter a number of young people- artists, musicians, frat guys/sorority girls, etc. having said that, prepare to wait to get into clubs/bars and be packed in like sardines and deaf when you walk out.
