Our Trip to Nashville
After reading other reviews on orbitz website regarding the hotels I had in mind, I made the decision to stay off ground of the grand-ole opry. The Holiday Inn Express was inexpensive yet one of the better hotels I've stayed at. It was a minimal distance to the grand-ole opry hotel - a can't miss excursion while in Nashville. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Nashville area.

Money-saving tip:
Short walk from hotel
If visiting the Grand-Ole Opry Hotel, park in the lot behind the Mill Mall where parking is free. Only a short walk to the Grand-Ole Opry and and Grand-Ole Opry Hotel. Parking in the lots designated for the hotel costs $18.

Vacation in Nashville
My group...there were 4 of us and we had 2 rooms. Great experience. The quality for the price is great. Breakfast was awesome too. The location was very convenient for the activities we had planned. Downtown Nashville, Grand Ole Opry and the General Jackson Showboat Dinner cruise.

Get tickets early for the Grand Ole Opry to insure best seats. A tour of Andrew Jackson's home, the Hermitage, should not be missed.

Good place to stay
We stayed at the Holiday Inn while on a family trip to Nashville. The hotel had a shuttle service to the Opryland Hotel across the street. There were several good restaurants nearby, including Caney Fork. We were right next to the interstate that could take you back downtown for more restaurants and shopping. The hotel staff was friendly and the breakfast was very good. The beds were comfortable, but the pillows were lumpy. Also, the air conditioner would only come on high, so it would get very cold when it kicked on. Overall, it was a good experience.
