Days Inn Amarillo East

We paid too much for a room that had food from a previous guest under the bed, a TV with a mismatched remote that didn't work, a radio alarm clock that didn't work, a toilet that ran, old mattresses that were sagging and beyond their useful life, curtains that were filthy and broken, old worn facilities, and one of the worst breakfasts that I've ever had (no fruit, or yogurt, rubbery eggs and rubbery microwaved biscuits). About the only positive things was that it was a very quiet hotel, and that the wi-fi worked well.

We need it a room for a few hours only, we checked in late and tired, all we want to do is take a shower and throw my seft in bed, but I regreet doing that!!! The matress was not confortable at all, I notice the matress was uneven, but oh well, "it just a few hours" the problem was when I laid down and I felt some pokes, the wires from the matress were stiking out. So even like that I'm like "fine roll to the other side is just for a few hours". Then early in the morning, house keeping is going around the floor, knocking each door and screaming "house keeping"

The rooms and the swimming pool were nice and clean, as was the Fitness Room. We enjoyed all the amenities. Beds were comfortable. This is my second year staying at this hotel. Will stay here again next year. The staff was very helpful and they showed their Texas hospitality!

DISAPPOINTED WHEN WE COULD HAVE GOTTEN THE ROOM OURSELVES FOR A CHEAPER PRICE. THE BEDS WERE VERY UNCONFORTABLE.

Very helpful staff. Hotel nice, full hot breakfast provided. Free Limo from here to Big texan steakhouse. Great fun. Staff helped me make police report of lost camera on trip to them would use again.

The hotel very well located, and friendly. And they have a important issue to me they accept Pets.

Traveling with my sister cross country from Phoenix to DC and stayed here the first night. We were pulling a U-Haul and found easy parking with it. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable and we liked not having outside corridors.

The location was great, close to everything and everywhere we needed to go. Overall, for the price, we were underwhelmed. The "breakfast buffet" was disappointing to say the least....we did get 20% off at the IHOP next door with our room key, however.

Would definitely stay there again. It was well priced, quiet and a good value. Our only complaint is that the front desk clerk wasn't able to tell us where a restaurant was and didn't bother to try and look it up.

We went to Groom, Texas to see the Crosses which was amazing. Seen the cadillac farm. But mostly we relaxed and enjoy the time away from home. The motel was great, the beds comfortable, breakfast was good.
