Great Price Performer
Staybridge Suites in Austin was an outstanding value for us. The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable, the mini-kitchen was convenient and a "must have" for us, and the complementary buffet breakfast was excellent. The location was surprisingly quiet (given it's proximity to the airport), and we enjoyed the nice courtyard and outdoor pool area.

We recommend the LBJ Museum. We only had a couple hours to spend there, but could have spent twice that amount.

Near airport, easy access to main roads
Staff was very courteous. Hotel clean and quite with afternoon hospitality that was very special.

When asked where a good "Sports Bar" was the front desk cleck printed out an easy to follow map to the locale. It proved very helpful and I had a great time.

A friend of mine and I stayed at this location at the end of March 2011. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite and it was so NICE, CLEAN, QUIET and COMFORTABLE. I am a picky person and I was totally impressed with the staff and the entire hotel. I have stayed in 5 Star hotels that did not measure up to this one! I called the hotel twice trying to decide which suite would work best for us and spoke to [...]at the front desk and also the Manager, [...]. They were both very friendly and answered all of my questions. The is a very nice hotel with free parking, we stayed on a Tuesday night and they had a complementary evening reception with very good chicken fajitas, salad, guacamole, chips, and so much more, also free wine, beer, and soft drinks. We also had (complementary) breakfast the next morning and it was wonderful also! Full hot breakfast with sausage, eggs, fresh fruit and a whole bar full of different food. They also have a 24 hour store located in the hotel by the front desk with microwavable foods, ice cream, beverages etc. just in case you could possible be hungry after the reception. The rooms were very spacious and again CLEAN. They have storage rooms for guest that need them for baseball equipment or whatever you have that you don't want to trip over in your room or leave in the car.

Terrible customer service
If I hadn't become assertive with the manager [...] we would not have been compensated for being bumped from the type and size of the room we prepaid for. [...] I had to remind them that there are venues for feedback such as this before they took responsibility for their mistake. On top of that, the room rate was outrageous considering the accommodations. I travel weekly for work and pleasure and have never had such a negative experience.

Excellent dining facilities in downtown Austin. its a 7 minute drive. Recommend Fogo de Chao ( Brazilian Steakhouse, out of this world)

Fantastic place!!!!!
We stayed for four days while sightseeing. Good for families. Possibly one of the nicest places we've stayed, good facilities, clean, friendly, good location, really enjoyed our stay.
