Extended Stay Deluxe Corpus Christi - Staples

Large room, with an 'entry' featuring a wood laminate floor, full size kitchen, and room to sleep six. About 1/4 mile from shops, restaurants, etc. Easy access. A small pool in the back of the building. Could use some additional lighting in the dining/work area. Quiet building, very nice staff. We were in town for a family member's graduation, and had to have some special accomodations, since one relative has to sleep in a recliner. The towels could have been fluffier, but that's quibbling.

This was a great experience for me and my family. It was easy to get around and very convient to shopping and main access roads. I didn't have any problems finding my way around town and to all the attractions that they have. The staff was very courteous and they do live up to all that they say.

[...] I pre-paid for a deluxe room, non-smoking with a queen sized bed. [...] When I came in she immediately defaulted me to a smoking room, then said, that she didn't have a room for me even though she had my reservation. I ended up with a handicapped room lol. Regardless, her excuses were unreasonable and attitude totally non-sympathetic, If I were less patient and not there for business I would have complained but I said it's just one night. Then I get to the room with the roughest towels ever... Do they expect people to wash with those? I could continue but if you want a good laugh, stay here...

We stayed for 2 days and it just felt wierd no one ever cleaning our room, or bringing us more towels. I think anytime a guest stays there over 1 day you guys should clean the room, and bring more towels.

Very nice staff, location near mall, Starbucks and stores. Clean, no charge for pet....beds need updating...not comfortable ..

Hotel was below standards for this chain. Entry way, hallways filthy and smelly. Kitchen sink leaked. Bed very uncomfortable. Won't stay there again sorry to say. The staff at desk was very friendly. However final day-when checking out-there was no one at the desk that could operate the computer at 7:30 a.m.

Went to North Padre Island and downtown Corpus Christi

We arrived a bit earlier then the check in time and no roon was availabe, the clerck told us to give her about half an hour and she should have something available, so we went to get a bite to eat,came back an hour later to check in and the clerck was quite busy dealing with a room issue and told me she was qite bussy and if I could wait a bit while she resolved the issue,she must have thought twice about it and decided to attend to our need. The room was clean and redy for use didn't find anything wrong other than a broken wall clock laying on top of the refrigirator, some failed attempt on decorating the cabinet doors with wall paper;which was coming loose at the corners,other then that great place to stay.

The hotel is located in south Corpus and is on a major road. Coming from San Antonio it was very easy to find. There were several restaurants and other shopping places withing 2 minutes driving. The beach is an easy trip with just two turns to make and then a straight shot. Customer service was excellent. Top notch as far as being friendly and very helpful. The bed was amazing, I slept like a log. I recommend this place to anyone staying more than one night in Corpus. I also enjoyed having a fridge and microwave so i could reheat leftovers for a late night snack. All in all GREAT!!!
