Hawthorn Suites By Wyndham CRP Christi Padre Is

Needed to switch my days and they wanted to charge me $70 extra bucks so when you book make sure you pick the right days and won't need to switch.

We found the hallway to be a little warm but the room was cool. Kitchen was a plus for us made our stay quite enjoyable.

Comfortible beds, kitchen and plenty of room. Directly across the street from the beach. Good deal and good price.

Right across the street from the beach. There is no swimming pool. The room is not a real suite, it's just a room with a kichenette.

Good location just across the street from the beach. The room had a full kitchen. The room was really nice. The only thing that could be improved is the cleaning of the room in between the days we stayed. The sheets on the bed was not changed out, the bathroom wasn't cleaned, and the floor was not vacuumed. The only thing that was done is the bed was made and clean towel put in the bathroom.

Across the street from the beach and beach access. The rooms were clean, nice and comfortable and the staff was helpfull. For people not familiar with Hawthorn Suites.....there realy isnt someone who will run extra towles or pillow to your room like some of the other hotel chains. However, if you put that aside Hawthorn Suites is one of the best places to stay if given the choice

Ok - if you do not need a view because there isn't one. The rooms are ok - the beds are old, overused, with a hint of grandma's perfume. Take your own sheets. Breakfast was very good though - eggs, sausage, coffee, juice, waffles and more.

Traveled with my 6 yo and hubby. Hotel was easy to find and in a great location. Although I did not have a "beachview" room, I could easily see the coast from my window. Room was kind of small but did offer a nice kitchenette complete with plates, pans, etc. Parking was limited but next door to another hotel so lots were shared. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The only complaint I had was that the hotel was very noisy, Walls/doors are thin since it is a family friendly place you could hear all the kids stomping, crying, slamming doors, etc. I am thankful I requested the top floor. Beach was directly across the street and an easy walk. Beach parking lot also had ample parking, good lighting, showers and RR's. You do have to purchase a permit to park on the beach ($12) so walking or using the parking lost is a good idea. This is a very family friendly beach and was never too crowded. Good trip overall. I would return to this hotel and location.

My GF and I (both over 55) went windsurfing in Bird Island Basin north of Malaquite Beach, so the hotel was priced right and located right. The place was clean enough and comfortable enough. There were a lot of families and the room where they put us, next to the laundry facilities, was a very noisy choice. The walls are paper thin, so you can hear a lot of ambient noise. The continental breakfast was food, and that's all you can say about it. We will probably go back because of price and location for our sport. Run by non-US staff who aren't the most service saavy.
