This was a great location The staff where so helpful and polite. The Rooms where very clean and the beds where so comfortable. It came with a indoor pool which was great for kids just a little heavy on chlorine and the parking situation was a bit full though they worked with u on the that. Great stay

Great stay!
This hotel was very clean and still smelt brand new! The beds were very comfortable and clean, the sheets were white and stain free! The continental breakfast was nice and hot and there was a healthy selection of food. Very nice staff and great location to the beach 5 min away or the city 5 min away. Will stay here again!

Take a 5 min trip down to ocean drive and check out the restaurants and beaches! Most of all the USS Lexington air craft carrier!

Family on vacation
Nice but could have been better
The hotel was nice and new. The location was great - very close to everything. They offered free continental breakfast which was nice, but they didn't offer a great variety. I would have liked an offering of waffles or pancakes. We booked this hotel in particular because of the newness, decor and the indoor pool. The indoor pool was lovely but it wasn't heated. There was also a hot tub. In the room, the a/c was very loud but after a while it worked out for our baby who was lulled to sleep by it. We thought this hotel included a dvd player, as most in the area do, but it didn't. They do offer free high speed wireless internet which was great. The speed was perfect, and not slow. If you are traveling on business, this place is perfect. If you are a family on vacation and don't plan on eating in the room, then the lack of table won't be a problem. The room also includes a fridge and microwave. We stayed in a double queen non-smoking. A suite probably would have been better for us. Overall, this room was great besides the dislikes mentioned.

Holiday Inn Express
My family was in Corpus Christi for a funeral/memorial service. We arrived early on the day of check-in, and Shelly was most gracious and compassionate and helped us get settled immediately. Every person who was on duty for the 4 days we were there made sure that we had everything we needed and constantly checked on us making us feel as though we wouldn't lack for anything. The only thing that wasn't mentioned until I arrived back home in Virginia yesterday was that we may have been entitled to a "bereavement rate" on the hotel rooms - we had five rooms with a total of about 20 people and all of us were from out of town or the country. It would have been nice to get some kind of break from the expense of the trip. Anyway, we all want to thank everyone for our stay.

Very nice place to stay
Nice place to stay for any reason. Clean, comfortable beds, nice flat screen, w/d on every floor. Staff was helpful and polite. Eating places and shopping within blocks and an easy drive to Padre Island.

Excellent service, clean
We attended a swimming competition. The location is great and close to the pool. The staff is very helpful, they know what they are doing and they did it efficiently and with the sincerity to help. The place is new, clean and spotless.
