Knights Inn Ocean Drive Corpus Christi

The staff was friendly and the price was perfect and we had a ocean view. I will stay there again

The hotel was in a great location, easy drive to TAMUCC and area beaches. Specifically searched for hotel with a pool, but when we arrived, a sign was posted apologizing for the pool being closed. We asked the manager about the pool and he said that renovations were under way and a new pool would be in by next week(does not help me this week.) Looked at the empty pool, no work going on, does not look like it will ever be open. The room was nice and large with two queen beds, so comfortably slept four. My daughter complained about the smell-it did smell musty. The bathroom had black streaks running down the wall like in the ceiling was some mold. The staff was really nice, kind of made up for the other disappointing aspects.

Was looking for a beachside hotel; this one advertised as 'on the ocean'. The ocean was across the street but the beach was 3 miles away and low and behold there was another Knights Inn and it WAS on the beach and much cleaner. Ours was old and dirty, there also was so much moisture the carpet was wet and I mean wet the whole time and our sheets and bedding were constantly damp. The pool was green and disgusting and there were tall weeds around it, we obviously didn't use it. We had to ask for towels and toilet paper. They did not make the bed or even empty our trash at all during our stay. [...]

No complaints, older motel but room was already cool- nice touch by management- and we had a quiet night's sleep. Can't ask for more.

Good place but needs some TLC.. Older place and it shows some. Landscape needed some work. Didn't spend much time in room but to sleep and had it was quiet.

Me and the wife took a trip to the beach. This room said it had an "ocean view." That turned out to be an obstructed view of the seawall. My wife refused to remove her sandals while walking in the room. It was that dirty!! This was the worst hotel room i've ever had the chance to stay in. I would have felt bad about taking a prostitute into this room!!!! oh, and the beach was about a 10-15 mile drive from here

This was the one most dissapointing hotel stay my family and I ever had! We wanted a room very close to the beach (their advertisement says across the street from beach) but what they don't say is that you can't access the beach from anywhere near the hotel. The hotel had tables and desks all in the hallways, looked dirty. As soon as we opened our room door we were overwhelmed by the smell of mold, very musty smell. The beds didn't look like they were made either. We left the next morning to head to the beach and when we returned we expected to find the room had been cleaned, but it was not! Our beds were supposed to be 2 queen size beds and what we had were 2 full size beds. I could keep going but this is really rediculous! Don't stay at this place.

We arrived and had to cancel 2nd night due to unforseen family circumstances. We were taken to a room on the 3rd floor. The smell in the hallway smelled like cat urine. The room was horrible. The bedspread had the backing tore off of it and the smell in the room was intolerable. The a/c wasnt working correctly and we immediately asked to be moved to another room. They also advertised free wi-fi. You could NOT access the wireless unless you were sitting directly across from the checkout counter. The hotel staff did not come on duty until 8:30 in the morning so you couldnt tell anyone anything. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE
