Good for business and social events

I have stayed at this Marriott three times now (twice for business and once after a wedding), and I have always been pleased with my stay. Currently under renovation, but it does not interfere with your stay. The only reason I noticed was because I had stayed there before the changes started -- otherwise, you'd never notice there were renovations going on behind the scenes.

Overall the hotel was great and in a good location for visiting Dallas. The only frustrating thing was having to pay for parking on top of the hotel rate, but that seems to be more common these days. Also, as with most Westin's the beds were extremely comfortable and the dual shower heads were relaxing.

Pet Policy: Pets are allowed for a $250 non-refundable cleaning fee. Pets are not allowed in the public areas. A small area for walking dogs is provided outside the hotel. Pets must be caged or guest must be in room when housekeeping is present.

The staff are exceptional, the FREE shuttle at a guest's beckon call to take you to-and-fro is a wonderful bonus (within a reasonable radius) and the complimentary breakfast and dinner-hour snacks are super. However the hotel does show its age in key aspects, despite the modern kitchen appliances and TVs. p.s. the beds are VERY comfortable. We'd definitely go back!

The Aloft was a little out the ordinary from what I have seen before, but would still recommend it to anyone. The staff was very helpful and polite. The cleanliness of the room was better than some other more well known hotels that I have stayed in. Over all a very good experience.

I had good room service for food,but no coke machine on my floor.....please take down the vending machine sign down. Better yet get vending machines. Clean and comfortable. I didn't have a clock in the room.
the room was much better than Quality Inn. it was a nice good discounted room that Orbitz found for me!

Free Shuttle bus did not go to Dallas Fort Worth airport had to get a cab.

The hotel is simple and nice. The staff was helpfull, it seemed clean, they have a free shuttle to downtown depending on availability, and they give you free warm cookies when you check in (if they forget you can ask for it later:). It is a 10-15 min drive to downtown Dallas and it is much cheaper than staying downtown. The only thing I didn't like so much was the location.

Provides van transport in a five-mile radius from hotel; in house bar and accompanying restaurant. Staff were very friendly, rooms were neat and clean but I couldn't get room warmed up - apparently the hotel was having issues with the heating/cooling system, but I was not madecaware of this until I overheard another departing client complain. Food choices at restaurant were average, but fair. Overall I enjoyed the hotel and its location considering the price point paid,

Partner and I live out of town and we frequently come to Dallas and spend the night. We always use hotels close to downtown. This hotel was by far the best deal we have found. The price was really inexpensive and the hotel was very nice. Location was perfect for us. Right across the street from Market Street Diner which is our favorite diner.

The hotel is an older hotel but it has been kept up very well. The room didn't look like what it did in the picture online but overall we were extremely satisfied with our stay. We are Dallas natives and just wanted to have alone time without the kids. The location was perfect! Very close to Deep Ellum, Victory Park and also the West End. Recommend this hotel to everyone.

I had a very good experience at the Fairmont Dallas. I was only there for one night for business. However, the amenities were great, the bar was great, and when I needed an item I had forgotten, it was at my door in mere minutes from my call.

Overall a pleasant experience. Staff extremely cordial and helpful. Only downside was expensive internet package (9.99 for standard 1 day...didn't chack for data usage charges) Bring your smart phone for email and this was an relaxing environment

It worked out great for us because we were going to a Dallas Stars game. It's also good to get a room so you can have access to GhostBar on a Saturday night. It's not cheap, but the location for a sporting event is good and the staff in GhostBar are great.
We had a great time and I can recommend it!

We used the W Dallas as our honeymoon hotel. The lady at the front desk who checked me in was very helpful and upgraded my room. After we arrived at the hotel that night afterward our wedding, she had champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries sent up with a customized card. Very impressive. The only lame parts were the $24/day valet parking and $10/day internet (really?). Next time, we'll have to sample Craft and/or Ghost Bar.

When we pulled up to the hotel the staff was great in assisting us. They were beyond polite and helpful. The hotel itself was fantastic and looked like something out of a movie. The room we had was a wonderful sixe very comfortable and had a great view. I would recommend this hotel to any and everyone I know if they are ever in the area.

The hotel decor was modern and pleasing. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. We had a great view of downtown Dallas. That being said, the hotel is not in downtown which could be a downside but it's only a 5 minute drive. Alright for a Last Minute Cheapy

We had to check in late due to my husbands work schedule that day. We live about 3 hours away and I had several doctor appointments the next day. It wasn't too bad but I like a nicer room. It was last minute and cheap so we didn't mind so much. The room was very clean though. No comp breakfast whatsoever.

Friendly staff. Room was very basic, not overly nice or well equipped. You get what you pay for. As a single man, I didn't care. But I wouldn't put my family or 'entertain' there. Too many marks on the wall, flakey paint, flickering lights, 200-count scratchy sheets, etc. But for the price, it works.

We did not visit the pool or the fitness center. We were there to visit friends. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and spacious and had everything we needed. Hot breakfast was very good! This hotel is well-situated in Dallas (not downtown and not too far south, but you can get anywhere easily from there).

Spent 10 days in Dallas for business purposes and the Hyatt was the perfect location. It is located a few miles north of downtown Dallas so you are able to reach key areas in Dallas easily. The Hyatt personnel were very polite and knowledgeable about the area. I enjoy it very much.

I had business at TI and the location was extremely convenient for that. Arrived late and had convenient bar with some food in lobby. Not a lot of choices but was not pretty good and convenient. Had convenient quick breakfast and internet--kind of the norm nowadays but requirement for me. I didn't realize I had booked a small suite---large living area. Didn't need it but might be nice for some.
Room was newly remodeled and hotel was in good shape. Nice 42" TV. My only complaint was that the room had some musty smell which I noticed more when A/C was left off during the day and room was a bit warm when I returned. It wasn't really bad, but I wouldn't want to live in that forever. Makes you wonder about cleanliness under the surface.

Room was clean and quiet. It had a full kitchen which we didn't use but a plus for some people. The free breakfast was not the greatest but adequate. It was easy to access right off the freeway. The freeway is a toll road so be aware. They will take a picture of your license and send you the bill later. Many restuarants within 2 miles on Belt Line Rd. Galleria mall also near by.

Check in was easy and fast. Room was clean,not perfectly clean. Workout room needs some cleaning wipes to clean equipment. Pool and hot tub looked nice, but didn't use. Breakfast was good.Room was quiet but slaming doors woke us in the am.

The spacious wood-paneled lobby with its cut crystal vases and soaring skylight embodies the feel of the hotel: classic, elegant, generous, and leisurely. I instantly felt calmer every time I walked in. I don't have any heart-warming stories, but the staff was friendly and the room was huge. I travel for work and my having nothing to complain about is in itself a huge compliment. The lamps in my room had three-way bulbs which I appreciated. (I'm surprised more hotels don't have dimmers and other subtle lighting options.) The convention center is only a three-block walk, which is also very convenient.

I had a great experience at the Adolphus Hotel. The common areas were beautiful and the staff was pleasant to work with. Location was great as well - right in downtown.

"Great Hotel, nice location"

I received a newly remodeled room which was beautiful and modern. The bed was very comfortable and the desing of the decor was very nice. The one thing I didn't like so much was the small bathroom. I would have liked more room in there but other than that the room was great. Being right down the street from the Galeria was a huge plus. The staff was wonderful and the lobby and restaurants were great!

My stay at the Hilton was very pleasent. I did not have any complications at all. It was a beautiful location with beautiful scenery. I definately will be staying there again.
