Wyndham El Paso Airport

Basically, my experience was fine. The only problems I had were being given key cards would not open the door to my room and given key cards that would not open my door after about 24 hours. It's really inconvenient when after wheeling several pieces of luggage you realize your keys don't work. Also I thought the pastries offered at the morning buffet were stale. Otherwise, I thought customer service was friendly and excellent. I did not give the motel 5 stars, however, because the motel, I think, needed to be renovated to compete with others which billed themselves as 5 stars.

Excellent value, great location, great value. Restaurant was good too. Would recommend highly.

My son was deploying to Iraq on Saturday and I wanted to have a good memory of our trip to El Paso.First of all the hotel rooms look nothing like the photos. This room was rated 4.2 when it should have been rated a 1.2, due to the fact it was an old design and looks like it had not been changed in years.This first room that we had was terrible, because we had a gate outside of room that secured the inter part of the hotel and the gate would make a loud noise and shake the whole room when it would slam shut as anyone traveled inside or outside of the gate. The reason for the hotel is to get a good night sleep.The next day after being woke up all night I went to the front desk and had hem move us to a new room. When we walked in the room it smelted really bad.[...].Here are my complaints(1) The hotel was a dive and the only reason that I paid 134.21 a night was the fact that it was mis-rated.(2) The banging of the gate outside of my room all night. (3) Moved me to a room that smelled really bad.[...].thank you,David Thacker

I had a great time with Grandchildren. They loved the pool and waterslide; so did I. Rooms were comfy. Wish there was a microwave or cooktop in room. Staff friendly and helpful.

It was very satisfactory, except we thought we were getting a complimentary breakfast with our package and we did not. Also most of the pop machines did not work properly. The front desk did reimburse our coins.

Overall the hotel had a little of everything. The fitness center was above average. The outdoor areas, ie, pool, was relaxing and surprisingly quiet considering you are within walking distance from the airport. The staff was definitely friendly and helpful. The cleanliness of the rooms and common areas was inconsistent - I guess depending who was on staff. The hotel key cards also inconsistenly worked and was frustrating considering some floors required card access within the elevator.

We were at a bowling tournament and also did some sightseeing. Hotel was nice. Fitness room and pool were nice. Waterslide was hardly open. Not open during its posted hours. Carlsbad Caverns is about 140 miles from El Paso and worth the drive. Nice view from Wyler Tramway. Some good shopping in the area.

The location was excellent. You could literally walk a very very very short distance from the airport to the hotel. Perfect for late arrivals or early departures from the airport. The rooms were very clean and the pool and water park were very nice. The staff was very helpful and their convenience store is reasonably priced and well stocked. Plenty of restaurants within a mile or two of the hotel. Very short ride to Fort Bliss. Would select this hotel again without hesitation.
