Right in the middle of the Historic Stockyards and was easy to navigate to local restaurants and bars. The rooms were nice, the staff was courteous, and the free breakfast was great.

The location of the hotel was perfect for the Stockyards. You fall out of bed and you are there! If you have "nap-aged" children, this would be a great location because you'd never be too far from "home" and never more than steps away from the action, either. My grown son and I stayed here and the room was fine. There were signs around that apologized for the construction but I was never aware any remodeling was going on.

We ate downtown at one of the fancy steak places. It was high in price but the food was delicious. The locally made beer (Rahr and Sons) was wonderful.

Great location..little over priced
Attended a friends wedding at the Stockyard Station. Hotel was great location wise. I was expecting a little more for my money. A little over priced.

Short walk from hotel
Make sure you bring good walking shoes and if you wear high heels of boots watch your step. The stone walkways and steet intersections are very uneven.

Great Location
We went to Fortworth for Easter with our 1 year old. Fortworth have an Easter Egg hunt and lots of activities for little ones. We walked out the front door of the hotel into the heart of all the action. Being so close we could pop home and change a nappy or have a break in the afternoon and then head out later in the evening for the rodeo across the street. The hotel was easy to find and a short drive from the other tourist areas, such as Downtown, the Cultural Area or the Zoo. We got a room with a sofa, and a pull out bed. We put the mattress on the floor and our little one had lots of room to sleep, and was safe - much better than some of the portable cots that are supplied in some hotels.

If you get sick of steak houses head to P.F Changs in the downtown sundance area and get some good American Style Chinese.

Weekend get-awayer
Nice place to stay in Stockyards
This hotel was very nice. The room was spacious and met all of our needs. I hate to even complain about this, because it was "free", but the continental breakfast was not the best I have had. The room was kind of expensive, but if you are wanting to be near the attractions without driving, this is the place to stay. Overall, I would stay at this hotel again, and recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in the stockyards area.
