I was in town on some quick business and didn't want to spring for the usual Hilton, Sheraton etc. The location of this hotel is great, right at 59 making it easyto ge where you need to be in town. The hotel was older yes, but was very clean and comfortable and the ac worked great. Breakfast was a little simple but sufficed. The customer service was excellent and staff very courteous. I arrived early and they made special efforts to get a room ready quickly for me. Would stay again if on a quick trip and a budget.

I have stayed at the Four Seasons chain for several years now. I usually go to the one in Nayarit, Mexico. It's a resort rather than a hotel and they never cease to amaze me. I had to be in Houston for a few days and I decided to stay at the Four Seasons. As soon as I stepped out of my car and was greeted by the valet I was greeted: "Welcome to the Four Seasons, Sir" and I knew I could expect top-notch service as I would in any 5 star hotel.
The doors were opened for us everywhere we went. Our bags were taken up and our car was valet. Standard for this hotel. The lobby looked great, but not the common "Grand" entrance in comparison to other Four Seasons hotels I've stayed at. I was processed really quick to get my room key. The lady walked me to the elevator explaining all the hotel's amenities such as the out-door pool (which unfortunately I did not get to try out due to the rainy weather), gym, and the italian restaurant. Very courteous. I went up the elevator and got to my floor, which as many have commented looks rather old. Not in a classy-old, but rather in a way that you can tell they have put off hotel maintenance, restoration, and remodeling. I stayed at a Hilton in post oak blvd in houston with nicer hallways/decor.
The room was nice, as I would expect. Very neat and great bedding. Including all the ammenities you would expect from a Four Season such as the sandals (his/her), the bathrobes, news paper, shampoo, conditioner, lotions, etc. By now we had our bags delivered by the bag service gentleman. The decor of the room was nice, but like I said, I have stayed at nicer hiltons. The Four Season should be in the same "playing field" as a St. Regis or a Ritz but the rooms are not even close. I don't complaint so much being that I paid about $170 for the night and $30 valet parking per day in comparison to $700 a day in the Four Seasons in Mexico.
The concierge was great they are very helpful in getting anything from reservations to exotic car rentals to pretty much anything you want. The food was great. I highly recommend the lobster pannini they have to share. It was great! Overall, the service was great, food was great, value was great. I would go there again but this hotel shouldn't really be called a "four seasons" until they heavily remodel. End of story. Still, I'd visit again

I loved everything during my stay but what's up with not having a microwave, refrigerator, or free wi-fi? I think those 3 things would have really made this stay magical! The staff was great, professional, and extremely nice/personable.

Nice place and very courteous staff. Shuttle driver took the time to get me over to car rental center even though they were very busy - that was above and beyond I thought. AC units are extremely noisy.

Perfct Hotel for everything. The pillow top bed was confortable. The free coffee was the best smooth coffee because the Hotel used Wolf Gang Puck. The rooms were very spacious and clean.

When we checked in, we had to stay one night in a smoking room. The staff assured us that we could move the following day. They were right on top of it the next day and we moved with no issue.
The room was clean and nice and the location was good for our purposes. The breakfast was good. The outside patio and pool area were nice.
We would have preferred a small refrigerator in the room.

We went to Houston for a wedding of a friend and stayed at this location because it was central to the wedding and reception areas. The pool was nice and clean and very realxing, the work out area was empty and allowed me to enjoy the time working out. The hotel was very clean and the staff was so kind and efficient.

I had a last minute trip to Houston. The hotel was great and the room was just lovely. The wifi was fast and the hotel staff was fantastic in taking care of my needs. Would have liked a better option for getting to Hobby.

Good Hotel for stop during travel

We stopped here on our way back home from vacation. The staff was not overly helpful but not rude. The rooms were great. The only downside was there was only one washer and one dryer for the entire hotel. Also, the pool was outside and closed at 10.

Service was decent. Staff friendly. I needed to get back and forth to M.D. Anderson and wanted a shuttle whenever possible. Driving to the Village shopping area had amazing restaurants and shops.

In town for a job interview. The hotel was perfect. Conveniently located just a few minutes from my destination yet access to everything else was quite easy, food, entertainment, etc. The best part about my stay was the complimentary breakfast which was much more than the usual continental bagels and coffee. Would definitely recommend to anyone in town for a short business stay.

It was nice and quiet and clean... It was away from all the craziness. THe breakfast was amazing and the staff was very polite and the rooms we're clean. The pool area and jacuzzin area was kept nice and clean.

Came to Houston for spring break with some friends and stayed four nights. Great hotel that has very clean rooms and comfortable beds. The breakfast was amazing as well. I would have put 5 stars, but on Sunday there was a church service that took place downstairs. They played very loud music and woke everyone. It started at 9:00 and as you can imagine college students in Houston for spring break are still very much asleep at 9 in the morning.

Very nice and clean from the front desk to the breakfast area to the rooms. The room was large enough and comfortable, would have liked a sofa in the room while watching TV. Very accessible to the conference center where I was meeting. I would recommend it to my colleagues and friends on a place to stay while in that part of Houston.

Great location for George R. Brown

If you are attending a convention at the George R. Brown, this is a great location. Vic and Anthony's is close by. Close to Minute Maid field. Magnolia hotel is close too. Until the light rail is done anywhere in downtown Houston is a mess. Staff is great, but hotel bar is a little light. Flying Saucer bar around the corner has every beer imaginable.

4-5 Star Frequenter. This Omni is packed with tons of neat things to entertain adults and kids alike, from the coi ponds (did NOT smell fishy) to the Bar. There is free parking and by the freeway near many things, but most likely there will be a toll charge along the way. I felt very safe with security/police around 24-7. They say there's bottled water in the room, but bring your own! They charge $6 a bottle. I'm picky so this just may be me, but they could have kept the place up a little better (vacuuming halls, general cleanliness). Its an older establishment but still nice. Staff was more than pleasent and helpful. They even allowed me to bring my Pocket Parrot with no hassle. That was surprising! I would definately stay here again and can't wait to bring my kids. Cool place, worth the price$.

The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The pool and hot tub are a little on the small side. it is best to rent a car if you plan on staying for an extended period of time. There is a complimentary shuttle service to take you into the downtown area.

The staff attitude ranged from perfunctory politeness to very polite and helpful and that was probably the best aspect of the hotel. The front desk does close in the late evening, however. The room was sufficiently clean and roomy although the bed and pillows was not particularly comfortable, the worst aspect of the stay, although hardly terrible. The kitchenette was very nice to have. The hotel was eerily quiet - I only saw a couple other guests in the lobby area during a couple days stay and none on my floor. The building shows a little age, but is in fine shape - the hallways were a little on the dim side - I would have preferred them to be a bit brighter. The hotel is not in a particularly great area of Houston, but you're not going to find anything in the Katy Freeway area that is. That said, I thought the security precautions for the hotel were better than many in the area. Overall, a pretty serviceable location, better than many in the area, although it's just really a place to hang your hat for a few days.

I selected this particular Microtel because of its convenience to NASA. I had just spent 5 days at a business conference and was staying an extra 2 days to see a bit of Texas. The hotel was located immediately across the road from NASA and even had NASA tickets available at a reduced rate.
However, the room was small and had no hair dryer or coffee maker. BUT at $49.95, it was a great deal. I felt safe, which is important when you are traveling alone.

In my opinion, Wifi should be free with the cost of the room. Other than that, it was a nice stay. The room service folks are very friendly. They also offered free car service to local attractions. For instance, they drove me to work in the morning, which was about 3-4 miles away. That was nice of them. The driver was friendly and pleasant to talk to on the way.
