Clean and comfortable
I lived in Houston for 22 years and usually avoided this area due to the one way streets in this area. I never liked the Galleria area. My son was also bringing the grandkids and wanted this hotel due to the suite size. He was very pleased. The kids loved it. The galleria is one block away for shopping. The freeway is not that far either. All in all it was a good trip. Beds are really comfortable and the hotel is clean. Nice staff. I just prefer the southwest part of town.

Unpleasantly surprised
Miscellaneous charge after trip
The room and stay was fine; however the desk clerk stated we would receive our bill [...] via e-mail. Therefore I checked out without signing anything. Two days later I see an an extra $30.00 charge in my credit card pending. I called them, but the manager said he couldn't pull up for what it was for. He advised us to call him back when it goes through and he'll investigate and possibly refund it.I know there were no extra charges I.e Internet/cable/ in room dining. The only thing we bought was a small box of q-tips which they said was $2.00.Ive stayed here twice, but the billing problem has left a bitter taste for me.

In need of a complete update!
This hotel is built around an atrium--completely open so it is TERRIBLY noisy with very thin walls! Rooms are in need of an update.

Great location and price
Very close to the Galleria, free shuttle. Beds are comfortable, the King suite has tons of room. The complimentary breakfast and manager reception are nice, too! There is an indoor pool, but we didn't use it. The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly and accommodating.

Embassy Suites - Good Value
Staff was great and extremely friendly and helpful. Tony drove me to my office every morning and was friendly and courteous and saved me the anxiety of waiting for cabs. Room service was OK - reasonably priced for a city hotel, and the breakfast was fantastic.

great price and location, plan to stay a
Loved the swans in the Lobby, the hotel is walking distance to the Galleria, very clean and wished I had time to get in the great pool. Had a problem with wet carpet, they were very sympathetic and offered to let us change rooms, didn't want the hassle, plan still to stay again in the near future.

Excelent Hotel, just slide problem
Weekend getaway with our daughter and grandson. First swimming pool experience for our 5mo. old grandson. First time that we ever had any problems,loud kid noises late at night, also took 4hrs. to get clean towels to our room.

Very Family Friendly
The Embassy Suites hotel near the Galleria was wonderful. The staff was very attentative to our needs, and we were traveling with five little girls. The rooms were huge, and immaculately clean. The pool, resturants, bar, gym, and gym were pristine. There was even a time that they let the children feed the swans that were on the premesis. I have never stayed at such a nice hotel, and I have traveled all over the world. I was very impressed, and I will definitely stay there again.

The Galleria Mall is just one block behind the hotel. It's the second largest mall in the country, and has an ice skating rink! Not to mention hundreds of stores, and great resturants.

Really nice the offer alot of services, they have shuttles for free, free continental breakfast... really nice place to stay , is near a mall for those who like shopping
