Grand Hyatt at DFW was really Grand!

My room was meticulously furnished with fine decor and linens. It was super clean. Amenities were superb. I did not like the absence of free WiFi. The room was pricey spetially for Dallas.

The hotel was decorated for the holidays and very festive. The bar was fun and the staff was very nice. The only think was the airplanes fly right over the hotel but you really couldn't hear them but they seemed very close.

This place seems a bit weird.
You walk into the lobby and it has that poolside smell. It smells like a swimming pool.
The place is noticeably a bit run down.
I got a bit of a strange vibe from the girl at the counter, though she was pleasant enough. Also there was a strange, big, tattood shady guy in the lobby that gave me a strange vibe.
The room and bathroom were clean as far as I could tell. The window of my room was facing the inside of the hotel lobby. As were many of the rooms. Its designed that way. I DID NOT like the fact that I could not draw the curtain. Outside the window there was blaring light. The TV in the room is not HD.
When I layed down in the bed, I started having strong doubts about the place. It could have been clean and all, but I felt unsettled especially after reading other peoples reviews of the place on my phone while laying in the bed.
I left the same night despite not being able to get a refund. I took the financial hit and went to the Hampton Inn right next door (which was MUCH MUCH MUCH better).

Shuttle service to DFW was helpful. Even with advance registration, we were not in the system when checking in. Desk clerk had to check with manager, creating a bit of anxiety whether we would have a room. Thermostats in rooms did not work, and it was cold. Breakfast was OK.

Everything was good and I'd like to recommend to stay for the businessman or stop-by one night at the airport.
Facilities and the attitude of staffs were nice and the quality of breakfast was nice too.
Only one thing made me not to give them perfect was that the controller of air conditioning was not work well.
It would not raise the room temperature above 61F degree, it was so cool when I slept. But the others made me not complain them.
Next time, hope it works well.

Great value hotel at terminal C, DFW airport. Large clean rooms, good eating options and obliging staff. Despite being inside the terminal complex you can't walk anywhere! However the shuttle service is prompt and efficient. Drivingto this hotel is a challenge the first time, but getting your toll ticket validated means there is no cost for access or parking.
Have used it twice while transiting DFW and highly recommend for that.
$10 for Internet access is an irritation......

This was the our first trip to Dallas, so we made a long weekend of it. We arrived shortly after check in time and found that the room that we reserved was too small for the number of individuals in our party. Upon request, the hotel staff quickly upgraded our reservation to a suite and we the found the room quite spacious and the service was great. Coming on a Thursday, we expected the normal activities to take place,(example: outside repairs on the roof), however, we did not expect it on a Saturday or Sunday morning. We did eat in the restaurant but found while the food was good, it was too expensive to eat there every meal. A package of bagels (5 in a package) which costs less than $3 in a grocery, cost $6.95 for one. However,there were other restaurants or food places available. I would certainly choose this hotel again, but not for it's restaurant.

Good location, LA Fitness Access, mediocre breakfast

We really appreciated the location, the price was great, and since it is a business hotel, it was professional (we liked free internet and free LA Fitness access). The breakfast was ok, though the selection was limited especially later in the morning. Some of fixtures in the bathroom were old and there were paint drippings in the tub. Overall, for the price and quality at that price, it was hard to beat.

Our trip went well. The only improvement that I could see....no restock of Continental breakfast after 8:45 am the morning I went down. (Saturday). I didn't go down on Sunday. They didn't have coffee restocked or no other food items except boiled eggs available. The plastic ware needed restocking...no forks or spoons available. My husband came down about 9:15 and had I not put up a couple of eggs and instant oatmeal, there would be no breakfast available for him. Everything else was very nice.

Stayed at the Staybridge for the Super Bowl. Price was very comparable to other hotels in the area given the circumstances. Really liked the hotel room setup with a living area with two separate bedrooms. Only negative was that they do not offer shuttles to the DFW airport. Hotel staff was very helpful in assisting with transportation options to solve this issue.

My 2 daughters and one infant grandson went to Dallas to visit my son and his family. The Staybridge was convenient to his home. One room was not ready yet when we arrived so we were upgraded to a suite. It was great with the baby - full fridge, kitchen, ironing board. The breakfast buffet offered a nice variety and the girls were happy with the small but suifficient work out room. Nothing super fancy, but it was perfect for our needs.

I stayed at this hotel based on the price for a suite and distance from the airport and friends that reside near Arlington. The location was great for me traveling between Dallas and Ft Worth. There is a mall within walking distance and plenty of casual dining. There were minor issues: the key card didn't work well at the exterior entrances and the iron was broken. The bed was very comfortable and housekeeping was on the job! Overall I had a very good experience until my flight was cancelled and I returned to stay another night. No one was at the front desk. I waited for over ten minutes ringing the bell and calling on the phone. No luck...so I had to take my business elsewhere.

We were supposed to get the breakfast with the room but found out it wasn't included after we got there. Once I found that out the value of the room went down. The website also made the area sound more interesting than it actually was.

Great suite rooms with lots of amenities

Overall, this was an excellent hotel.
The only issue we had was that the bathroom had not been cleaned well.
Everything else was great, including the store that was open 24 hours -- very convenient.

We had a good stay here. Breakfast is decent. Room was super-nice with kitchenette, nice shower. Pool looked nice outside our window but it was too cold to go swimming. Free wireless internet; staff was great.

The hotel was easily located, clean, and had friendly staff. The only bad thing is my fridge was broken and asked for a replacement - it didn't happen so my food spoiled. Also opt out for the green care bc they didn't replace my towels like they said they would.

just returned to this drury for the upteenth time.always treated properly,maybe because i treat the personel the way i want to be treated. managers snack saved an outside meal and breakfast was as usual good.hotel a tad bit on the pricey side but the amenities make the difference and altho my dog is gone she was always welcome also.

Just there for one night for a trip to the airport. It was very quiet. The staff was very friendly. Room was very clean. Would definetly use this hotel again. The only setback - there was no conditioner. But not a biggy.

Shower temperature fluctuated tremendously from cold to scalding. Other customers tried to get into my room one night at 2:50am, because front desk forgot it was booked. Otherwise an average hotel.

My son stayed at this hotel, and he loved the spot it was in. Also, because it has a shuttle from the airport and to the train station made his trip extremely easy. We will definitely stay there again.

The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly. The hotel has a shuttle bus that will take you to and pick you up from the DFW Airport. For $5 a day you can also leave your car at the hotel.
