OK place for a night
The website pictures did not reveal the fact that it had outside stairs and corridors. Our family had 2 rooms, it was cold, so every time we went from one room to another, we had to bundle up. However, for the price, it was OK.

great location
the room was okay, breakfast was nice but average. The best part of the hotel was the location, it was right next to the market square and 10 mins away from the riverwalk. It also comes with free parking. But i did see a dead roach under the bed.

La Quinta
Our hotel was in a great location, within walking distance to down town San Antonio and had free parking which is a huge plus. The issues we had were there was a giant cockroach in our hotel bathroom, even my husband was a little shocked at how large this bug was. Other than that, if they could have improved the cleanliness, the place was in a great location for the money.

More than we expected
We went to see sightseeing. It was fun for all of us. Our room number was 167. The only problem is if you want to sleep more, please try to chose a room that doesnt have the pool view as the kids love jumping and screaming in the very early morning. On the other hand, even if it is morning, the curtains made the room so dark and we slept easier. The breakfast was from 6:30 tp 9:30 and it wasnt the perfect one, but it was ok. The waffles were good but the queue was too long :) The staff was really nice and helpful. The rooms were clean but the bathroom ventilation was not working. The location is great. Actually there is one La Quinta which is closer to the Riverwalk, La Quinta Convention Center but there was an unnecessary price difference between two hotels so that was a good choice. In the mornings I walked to the Riverwalk and it didnt take more than 10 minutes.

Not bad...
The motel was average. Clean and well situated in downtown. Easy to get in and out of and free parking. Count on adding $25-$30 to all the other rates for valet. Would recommend.

Enjoyable stay!
Very nice hotel; however, La Quinta could upgrade their breakfasts--nice but not great! Very nice rooms -- big plus their bathroom: Nice, clean, and big.
