"happily surprised"
When we drove up we were a bit skepticle but once inside and after staying we were very happy. The room was nice,clean and well appt'd. The balcony offered a nice place to sit and enjoy the day or evenings and get a bit of fresh air. The breakfast was good consisting of juice,milk,coffee,tea, muffins, waffles, cereal,toast,bagels, fruit,energy bars and more. The staff was friendly and helpful. The riverwalk was a block and a half away and the most action and eating places was about 5 blocks away. Would stay here again and would recommend to anyone.

Close to the river.
I thought it was nice for the price great location for dinner, drinks, short walk back to the room. Small room but nice. If you plan on staying in an relaxing watching TV or other... It will work out great. No view. We had a nice dinner on the river and a walk back to the room safe quite walk no problems. It worked out well.

it's all good
We went to San Antonio just to spend a night on the Riverwalk. The hotel was very convenient - just a block away. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Front desk was friendly and helpful. No complaints. Everything was just as expected.

As other reviews mention, parking can be a challenge. However, we called ahead and the front desk was helpful in sharing lot locations, rates, and in/out policies.

Nice and Quaint
The hotel was minutes from the river walk so we arrived before check in to walk it. That night we had a taxi cab take us Spurs NBA basketball game, which was not far at all $24cab fair there and back. The hotel had great customer service and great breakfeasst options.

just ok...nothing spectacular
For a high end hotel, the amenities just did not live up to satisfaction. It was just ok. The reason I chose this hotel over comparable hotels in the area is they only charged $10 for parking verses up to $30 which seems outrageous.

great place
This hotel was great. It was in the best location so close to the riverwalk and trolly stops. Very nice rooms. Breakfast was ok. Parking was very limited and tight. I would book there again.

Nice hotel in the heart of San Antonio
This hotel was very nice. It was clean and comfortable with friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. It would have been nice to have a pool especially since it was very warm, as it usually is during a Texas summer.
