A good nights sleep
This is a fairly old hotel in the center of Moab. Room was decent and clean. Nothing spectacular. The fitness center and pool was isolated across the parking lot...Didn't seem to safe to go to in the night and it was just too cold to walk to.

Dining tip:
Short walk from hotel
Scoured the town for a decent place to eat and didn't really see anyplace appealing So, I decided to go to the Szechwan Chinese restaurant next door which surprisingly had really good Chinese food. I ordered a take-out and had a very pleasant meal in my hotel room.

The best hotel I've staid in so far!
Excellent value for the money. Fancy and clean. HDTV and cable! I don't have that at home. I wish I could live there. Did not want to go back home.

ok for a quick internet found hotel
Except for the room door that was hard to open the hotel was good value. However the 2nd night in Moab we relocated to the Archs Inn. $20 cheeper, hot breakfast, and warm cookies at check in. The room was nicer than Best Western....

Should be perfect all the way.
This was the perfect hotel, seriously. The room was spacious and well appointed. I had a desk for writing AND a table that was good size for eating or playing cards. The sink was separate from the tub - which is always a plus. The TV was very good size and had an excellent picture and a really good channel range. This hotel is located about in the middle of the town strip and I found it very easy to shop in any direction and walk to a wide range of restaurant options with ease. I reported the day I arrived that the refrigerator was not cold. I repeated this report (to the same clerk) in the morning when it still was not working. Since I spent most of my 3-days in Moab hiking and picture-taking in the surrounding parks, I usually carried my cooler with food and drinks with me (the ice machine was awesome-providing plenty of good ice). On the last day, I reported the refrigerator problem again when I returned late in the day. The clerk was very concerned that the problem had not been fixed and offered to send a maintenance worker immediately. I declined and just asked that they fix it before the next person. So, I think the initial clerk I reported to was the problem. This is an excellent hotel and I WOULD definitely pick it again for its amenities and location.

Good room could add some details
I thought this was a good hotel but was failing in a few details. My biggest disappointment was not breakfast. All good hotels need a complimentary breakfast in today's marketplace when the bill totals $100 a night. There was also a burn out light bulb in the vanity and the ice machine didn't work in the pool/exercise room.

Beautiful Moab
The location is perfect, just a quick jump to the Colorado River, Arches National Park, Dead Horse Park and Canyonlands. The room was actually quite nice, the only problem with it is that you can hear the person above you. If you are on the second floor it's no problem, just try to avoid the bottom floor. Teal at the front desk was very helpful. We had checked out and grabbed some food to go at the place across the street and Teal chased us down to tell us that my wife had left her sweatshirt in the room. Good Value and great location.

Good Experience
Greenwell Best Western is on the main business street, near the center of Moab, making it easy to contact agencies and businesses. The room was generous with good facilities. There is no onsite restaurant, but there is an abundance of good restaurants for all meals within easy walking distance.
