Not spectacular but no big complaints.

I stayed over Christmas so service was minimal, but I didn't need more. The shower was hot with a shower head that allowed for different sprays, but was fixed so it couldn't be repositioned at all and you had to crouch down to wash your hair. The television remote only changed channels; volume and on/off had to be done on the television itself. I could hear the neighbors above whenever they walked or used the shower/sink. It was loud enough I was awakened when they got up at 5:30 am. every morning. (Poor insulation). Otherwise the bed/pillows were comfortable, the room warmed up quickly, towels were plentiful, and the room overall was clean. [...] This room came at a cheap price so I didn't expect more. I was satisfied with my experience. Nothing spectacular, but no big complaints either. Would stay there again.

We were in Utah for a fiftieth class reunion. This is our second year staying at the Marriott in Provo. Last year we had the same pricing and had two breakfasts that were included in with our reservations for each morning. This year we were told this did not include the breakfasts and that we should contact Orbitz on this.
Our room was not taken care of as well as last year either.

Description
This Victorian mansion was constructed in 1895 for Russell Spencer Hines with money acquired from his mining, business and real estate ventures. It is believed to have been designed by Utah architect Richard Karl August Kletting, who also created the Utah State Capitol. According to historic records, the mansion was built as a showplace during the recovery from a major boom-and-bust period in Provo's economic history. One of the first homes built for Provo's first generation gentry, the R. Spencer and Kitty Hines Mansion is one of Utah County's most historical residential landmarks. An award of merit was presented by the Utah Heritage Foundation to Douglas K. Hardy for his renovation of the structure between 1975 and 1978. During that three year period the first level wings were added. The cupola is a representation of the original which was removed many years ago. In November 1995, Gene and Sandi Henderson purchased the mansion and directed the remodeling of the structure which includes nine distinctive bedrooms, two-person jetted tubs, king and queen-sized beds and armoires with TV's in turn-of-the-century decor. Old and smelly

The room smelled and was not very clean. All the security locks inside the room on the door were disabled and in the morning the front desk attendant accidentally walked in on us while we were still in bed. (She had the wrong room.) If there had been security locks that worked like a chain lock or something that wouldn't have been able to happen. They advertised free wireless internet, but neither of my two computers could find any wireless networks. I came into the hotel late at night so it was too late to ask the manager. It was very cheap though. Check out time was 11:00 - which I think it too early.

We basically just needed a one night hotel for a football game -- we were looking for something inexpensive and picked this hotel. It was very close to stadium. Room was about average, but clean.

Come on... if you are not spending a lot of time in your room, then this is the place. Great hot breakfast in the morning (real eggs and real bacon). Clean room, friendly staff. For the price... we're back next time. Walking distance to Mall and fast food and sit down restaurants.

We went out to dinner to celebrate our 23rd anniversary. the only complaint we had, were some noisy kids next door, but it did'nt ruin our stay. the staff was courteous as usual with LaQuinta inns. It was quite comparable, that's why we chose LaQuinta.

I traveled this weekend with my son and his family. In addition to a spring celebration, we shopped and enjoyed taking the children to their choice of restaurants. We had two rooms, and they are probably the best we've ever had. Each room was spacious enough for everyone to be in one or the other at once. We were especially pleased with the bathroom accommodations. The shower/bath tub were separate from the toilet, which was very convenient. The decorations were modern, simple, and very pleasing. And the beds were so comfortable. I've stayed in a lot of motel rooms, and I have to say these are among the best I've had. Oh, and the continental breakfast! We had so many choices, from cereal to bagels to eggs and sausage to waffles -- anything we would make at home.

I was there for BYU graduation with family so didn't spend much time in the room. It was clean and comfortabe. I appreciated the fridge, micro-wave and coffee pot. Very convenient.

The hotel was alright at best. Good location to BYU though. My TV busted, and it took 2 days before they came to fix it. Other than that, no complaints.

I have to say I was treated very kindly. The staff made my stay wonderful! The room was very clean and comfortable! The shuttle service helped me get to my job interview on time and made my stressful visit (job interview) much easier. I only had to focus on doing well at the interview and they took care of the rest. And for those like me who have to be economical, the price was very fair and better than other hotels that did not offer half the amenities. Enjoy!

Nice hotel with many good restaurants within walking distance. Also a good distance from the university as well as a state park and other scenic areas. Standard amenities (continental breakfast, small shampoos, in room coffee maker etc). Staff was courteous. Overall enjoyed the stay.
