Nice clean room. Two double beds. Noisy fridge, so much so, had to unplug it to sleep. A lot of noise from people in the room above every night - heard every footstep over squeaky floorboards, toilet flushing, bed squeaking etc. No coffee/tea making facilities, but we had a travel kettle with us. Cereal, toast or waffles for breakfast. Had to sit with my back to the fish tank whilst eating to avoid looking at the dead fish that had been laying in there all week! Good location within walking distance of town centre, Liberty park, etc if you are quite fit. Would use this again as a base in SLC.

The room is located right next to Temple Square. The city is very clean. There is a great brewery a mile south within walking distance. Only spent one night, but would definitely stay here again. They don't tell you in the description that parking is $5. Other than that had a great experience all around.

Very nice facility. Clean, downtown location, very comfortable room, nice business center and lounge area. Having been in the travel business for over 35 years, it was another "layover" hotel - but at least a nice, clean one with very helpful staff. If I had business in downtown SLC, I would stay there again.

The hotel room was nice. The only thing is we were on the 6th floor and looking directly into another building. Not exactly a city view. Also, they do not validate parking. We either had to park it ourselves and pay $20 or have them valet park it for $17 for 1 night.

I loved the hotel. I would definitely come back. We were greeted with smiling faces. Loved the soap, shampoos and conditioners (all were Aveda). And they had umbrellas for us to borrow, since it was raining.

Great experience. Such a friendly, polite and helpful staff! Some of the most comfortable hotel bedding I've ever experienced. Great location and everything we needed. Only drawback..lighting is a bit too fluorescent and dim.

Good except for the fact when i showed up i had to pay 12 dollars more just to park at the hotel i thought i already paid all the expenses for to stay at. Other than that the hotel was descent and the breakfast was AWESOME!

my only complaint is that the hot tub was broken for our entire visit, and that the elevators were awkward to use. But the location, staff, breakfast, and rooms were all amazing. Will definitely be staying there again.

Suggestions: Melons need to be cut in thin slices, served individually ( grouped) on a tray and not in chunks served in liquid, will have better taste.
VERY IMPORTANT!
We should have been notified of the TRAX availability which was free instead of telling us to walk 1 mile to Salt Palace Convention Center.
It was dangerous to walk alone especially at night.

Very friendly staff, decent location (close to downtown and the Temple). Hotel food was average, but it was nice to have room service. Beds are too hard for my own preference (and mine didn't have the "dials" to make them softer - although I've never found those dials to work in other hotels). Wireless internet was free and fast. 24-hour business center was fantastic - printing was free, which was helpful as I needed to print out documents for my business trip.

The hotel was pretty good. Rooms were a bit dated but it had everything we needed, lots of towels, shampoo, condition, etc. Breakfast was okay, didnt have a waffle maker or anything like that, but they had cereals, toast, etc.
Biggest complaint is that the pillows were too fluffy/tall. I like my pillows to be a bit more flat and they were super puffy pillows. But overall a decent stay

This hotel was a good value for the price. It's in walking distance to the Convention Center and other downtown attractions, but I really appreciated the shuttle service to and from the airport and downtown when the weather was bad. Hotel staff were very responsive to my needs.

Hotel is excellent when you're traveling and have to stay over for a night. Good service, swimming pool was good, fitness room was well organized. Beds were great, maybe even one of the best we had this journey!!
Breakfast was good, nothing really special.
Only thing which was bad, was the third bed, the sleeping couch. But to be very honest, wherever you stay that's always bad.

Compared to an experience we had over the 4th of July (not booked at Springhill suites), this stay was a breath of fresh air. The staff was extremely friendly and polite. They even greeted our kids. The hotel was clean and our room was extremely comfortable. The beds were perfect. That's probably the best night's rest I've ever had while staying at a hotel. I'd definitely go again. It was nice to stay at a place where all my kids (4 of them) had a place to sleep. The best part was taking a dip in the pool that next morning. We'll definitely come again and may even stay a little longer next time. I honestly can't think of anything that we did not like.

It was just an awesome place to spend our Christmas get away. Beautifully decorated and on the historic register. Only issue is paying $10 a day for internet. The $10 a day for parking was worth it for the convenience. So very close to everything with its downtown location. Overall just great!

The guest at the Peery Hotel is welcomed into a large, comfortable, historic lobby with a grand staircase and blazing fireplace. Fresh water and coffee are provided in the lobby. Staff are friendly and helpful, eager to please. The decorations are all Old Style Western. The room was comfortable and quiet. One small complaint would be the size of the bathroom. I had to squeeze between the sink and the toilet to reach the shower. But that's a minor inconvenience. They promise that a pub will soon open off the lobby, so it will only get better!

I stayed here in February 2010 prior to heading over to Park City for a Ski weekend. This motel served its purpose as a one night stayover. The location was near several bars,restaurants and tourist landmarks within walking distance. The staff was friendly and I enjoyed the free continental breakfast and free internet service.

The hotel charges 59-79, without any special rates or discount websites, which is low for the area. But that goes without saying you get what you pay for. They don't offer vegetarian options at breakfast, the hotel soaps look like they are donated from other local hotels (brands didnt match up), and the stairwells are unkept.
The room was clean, the bed comfy, and staff nice. We just need a place to sleep, it wasn't a vacation we invested in.

The hotel was easy to find from the airport, although signage was a little small. The staff was friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was more than I expected. The room was clean, comfortable, and fairly quiet. We would definitely stay there again.

I booked this through [...] as part of a skiing weekend package and was very happy with the accomodations at the hotel. It was clean and everything worked perfect. the bathroom was very clean with very good water pressure and hot water on demand. This is a fantastic hotel for the money. The staff held me upgread at no charge to a double instead of a single bed room. Very happy! The skiing was great!

I really enjoyed the hotel. The building is beautiful right in downtown and there is no shortage of attractions nearby, especially the Temple Square and Conference Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (mormons).
The only problems that we found was that the mattress and pillows were very firm and both my wife and I had hurt backs the next day. The food is good but it is given through the cafe in the lobby and what you get complementary is a small quantity. I was hungry until I ate some more elsewhere.

Very nice hotel, especially good for the price. Free parking so that's a bonus. Just beware on Friday and Sat nights- there is absolutely no parking so we have to park at a meter since everyone was out and abuot going to restaurants/clubs. Great location, close the the highway, nice staff. Wasn't too pricey and def well worth a stay in Salt Lake!

We spent 15.00 to up grade to a King bed, we still ended up with a very hard queen bed in a very nice room. I'm sure the room was an up grade but not the bed which is what the most important thing was for us. Every thing else was great.

Very friendly staff, esp the server at the Kitty Hawk restaurant. Very clean and the in room coffee maker was a pleasant surprise. A bit expensive and the breakfast was weak. But a great place to stop on a road trip or on business. The pool was refreshing.

We stopped by Salt Lake City on our way home to California. This hotel is very nice, and our room was HUGE. It was reasonably priced just for a nice room in SLC; but given the size of the room and the quality of the hotel, it was especially a great deal.
The hotel is not up against the freeway, and so we didn't hear freeway noise. It is also located enough past the airport (away from town), that we didn't hear any planes. The drive into town is fairly short.

I came in late and needed a place close to the airport to stay overnight before driving out the next morning. The hotel was easy to find, fast check in, and the room was clean. A little pricey considering the other options right there in the same area.
