We had a wonderful stay at the Grand and walking right to Showshed lift was perfect. The studio room with kitchenette and murphy bed was great for the price. This hotel was as nice as any I have been in out west. I would definitely recommend it.

Great location and the big pool,hot tub,sauna and steam room were great. You can walk to the slopes which was perfect.Only downside is the ceilings are paper thin and it sounded like a rodeo was going on above us. probably better for families less so for a romantic getaway

The convienent, yet dated hotel

We went skiing for 2 of the 3 days that we visted Killington and the location of the hotel was great for that. We were able to walk to the lift, right from the hotel. The room itself was very dated and had somewhat of an odor to it. There was no housekeeping to clean or make the beds - we had to do that ourselves. Also we only received new towels on the 2 day. Our room was located above the restaurant and one night that had the music blasting until about 2AM, very annoying!

Great value for a great location

Although the room felt like it hasn't seen the decorator since 1990, the location was hard to beat. There is a free shuttle that runs in the early morning and early afternoon to and from the lodge at the ski slopes, which was a great convenience. We visited in the winter, and there was always a wood fire going in one of the two large fireplaces. Breakfast was a nice included amenity. The workout facilities could use some help. There was visible dust in the corners, but the bathroom was clean. The quality of the room was depressed by the obvious damages (i.e. broken closet door) that were never repaired. Hard to beat for the price.

This is a great hotel. This is the closest I have ever stayed to the mountain (it doesn't get much closer) and it was still a great value.

The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. Breakfast was o.k. Bagels, hard boiled eggs, cereal,and waffles. Coffee,tea, hot chocolate and juice. I would stay at this hotel again.

The original room we got had a view of the parking lot and were not finished nicely. We asked for better rooms. The gave us two rooms with somewhat of a view. They were much nicer and clean. They were on the small side. The hotel accross the street was much nicer, but, much more expensive.

Beautiful condo - great location

Beautiful, well equipped condo, two minutes from the lodge @ Killington. Nice gas fireplace and pretty view. Very clean. Took the gondola ride to the top of Killington and hiked up the catwalk to amazing fall views at the top. We did wish we had been told that the check in was at the Killington Grand Hotel, this caused quite a delay in checking in, and was difficult to find in the dark.

Wonderful location, fully furnished kitchen, real log fireplace..cozy! Heat did not seem to work very well..fireplace helped! Mattress hard and uncomfortable...better suited as an autopsy table! And, if you recall the skeaky bed scene in the old movies, where the guy next door was banging and you could hear everything....this is where they must have filmed it...funny at times, but mood affecting!

the woods have a great spa which comes w/ rental.
only problem for me w/ this unit is the layout.
the whole 2nd floor (the bedroom and the loft) are open to the whole 1st floor.....so you really only have 1 bedroom and then a whole bunch of open common space. if thats not a problem for you great, but if you want privacy of 2 seperate bedrooms this isn't the right place. that being said, unit was real clean w/ plenty of towels and utensils 2 cook.

we stayed at the Killington Resort Villages: sunrise condominiums, the condominium was great, roomy clean very pleasant. I loved the time we had there and would be more than happy to go back. However we had to register with the Killington Grand Resort Hotel. I felt like we where treated like 3rd class guest by the hotel staff, any questions about the place was meet with, 'I duno, we just look after the place' I found the staff rude and un-helpful. Also felt the deal should have been better, this time of year for Killington is off season and the whole place was empty. We would go back but will try another place next time.

Everything we needed was there for us. The building was filled with people but our condo was very quiet. It was so much better than staying in a motel room and the price was cheaper than motel. I would recommend staying at this particular condo to anyone.

The owner/operators were very nice. I just used the hotel to sleep while visiting friends in the area. Coffee pots in the rooms would have been good especially for late risers like me. Breakfast was served between 8-9.To late of an earler riser like me when I checked out and left for home at 6:30am and to early of a ending time of 9:00 for a later riser looking for breakfast at 9:30.

Five minutes from Pico and 15 minutes from Killington

I stayed here with my two teenage kids for a long ski weekend. I will definitely stay here again next time I go back to the Killington area.
This hotel was recently (fall 2011) renovated. The rooms are very nice and very clean. The staff is helpful and friendly. There is a lobby with a central fireplace that is a great place to go at night to browse the internet or read a book (internet is free). There is a free breakfast that is wonderful (lots of choices and good food) however they do not serve lunch or dinner. There are tons of great restaurants and bars very near to the hotel. There is also a Sports Authority in Rutland about 15 minutes away if you need to buy some last minute ski gear but don't want to get robbed on the mountain.

Snowed Inn...20 rooms with private bath, some with fireplace and-or jacuzzi - family suite and studio with fireplace, jacuzzi tub, kitchenette. Popular inn with a cordial, intimate atmosphere. Modern, tastefully decorated rooms have queen beds, cable color TV and phones. Generous expanded continental breakfast buffet in greenhouse room. Relax by the fieldstone fireplace in cozy, book-lined lounge overlooking wooded deck with outdoor hot tub.
