Great value

A little hard to fine, no signage on building. Only staff was house keeping. Rooms were very nice and clean, and the best value on my trip.

Good Value for a stay near the Mountain

Several friends and I stayed for a weekend to ski at Killington. It was a good place to stay if you are just looking to stay near the mountain for a good price. The room was very clean and the beds were quite comfortable. They have geothermal heating and we were on the third floor so it was warm and cozy, which was great coming in from the cold. The breakfast was not much, but it was good to eat something before heading out to the mountain. The man at the front desk was very friendly. There were two downsides to the hotel. The Inn was full on a February weekend and they do not have sufficient parking for all the occupants. The snow had piled up and a lot of people were stuck in the snow and parking along a crowded road. Also, the Inn is very energy and waste efficient. While I admire their efforts for energy usage reduction and understand their reasons for cutting costs, they may want to consider turning the hot water heater on earlier in the morning. Don't try to take a shower before 7:30am unless you enjoy a very cold shower. In the evening, there was no problem though. I gave it four stars because it was a good stay overall, just take a shower in the evening.

Hillside Inn not great.

Customer service at the desk was less than fabulous. They told me I was being charged for two rooms by [...]even though I had received e-mail confirmation from [...]two days prior detailing the cancellation of the second room. They were unwilling to work with me to solve the problem and I was forced to make two long phone calls with [...], who then called the hotel, to work out the problem. We were also rudely awoken at 9am by housekeeping, despite check out time being clearly stated as 11 AM.
