This Magnuson Hotels affiliate is located near Pico Mountain, Green Mountain National Golf Course, Killington Resort, Killington Music Festival, Vermont State Fair, College of St. Joseph, Wilson Castle and the Franklin Center at the Howe. The Killington Pico Motor Inn offers guests an outdoor pool, hot tub, free Continental breakfast served from 7 am to 10 am, game room, free high-speed wireless Internet access, fax/copy service, wakeup service and free parking with room for large vehicles. Unfortunately, pets are not accepted at this location. The front desk hours are from 7 am to 11 pm. Guest rooms offer free high-speed wireless Internet access, cable TV with extra stations, hair dryer, iron/board, mini-fridge, free local calls, air conditioning and alarm clock. Requests are not guaranteed, and will be granted based on availability at check-in.

This motel is a stretch to be 2 stars. Yes the location is great, right between 2 mountains in Vermont, but the rooms are 80's vintage from the rug to the television. Not sure why but my room was heated with a portable space heater, the thermostats are either not connected or the central room heat has been disconnected. Nothing in the way of amenities, wifi was passable IF you called the front desk to get the password (should have been provided at check-in). The room was clean but that does little to make you feel like you aren't trapped in an 80's ski movie.
