Great Location
Location and surroundings are fantastic. Room is basic for a ski type area and was rather large for just my wife and I. The room would fit 6 comfortably and would be a good value for the ski season.

Just right for a family weekend
We were delighted with our stay. The continental breakfast was great! We especially liked the homemade cinnamon rolls and blueberry muffins. My sons loved the pool. We didn't stay in the hotel much because we were there to see our daughter who is at college in the area. It would be nice in the winter for a ski weekend.

The room key was available after hours conveniently. When I went to pay however, the staff wasn't exactly...hospitable...

Decent hotel for the money
Overall this hotle was nice. The location was perfect for things to do in Vermont. It wasn't super clean for example I moved the night stand to get to a plug and there straws all behind it. The sheets on the bed were clean but I felt the blanket needed to be washed. I didn't have the breakfast that was offered because I just love the bagel shop right down the street.I have stayed at the Golden Eagle down the road a couple of times in the past but they were full when I tried to book again this year.

Excellent stay.
Very comfortable, clean and with very friendly staff. There were places to eat in very close proximity - some within walking distance. The lounge area was very pleasant and comfortable and the open fire was a nice touch. Free coffee and cookies available all day. Free parking right outside your room. I would definitely stay here again.

Very friendly and caring
The sun and ski inn and suites was an excellent choice that we made. The rooms were exceptional and the staff was excellent. The hotel manager greeted us and made sure we were in a room that was right for us along with offering to upgrade us for very little cost. The manager asked us if we wanted to see all of their room categories that they offered and then personally walked us to each. In the end we did upgrade to a room with an excellent view of the river for next to nothing. Service like this is what I look for and I would recommend the inn to anyone who needs to getaway at a reasonable price. We only stayed 1 night but my wife and I didn't want to leave.
