Perfect Central Location
I've stayed at numerous other Downtown Seattle hotels, however for some reason this was my 1st stay at the Grand Hyatt. I was very impressed with the lobby, the staff and most of all my room. I was in town for a medical procedure and utilized the room service and hotel staff several times.. Excellent in room dining and very friendly people. One of my new favorites for downtown Seattle.

I travel a lot both on business and for pleasure and I must say this was one of my best hotel experiences ever. Room and amenities were fine enough, what you would expect from a Hyatt hotel. However, the staff was awesome! I had the unfortunate experience of having my car broken into while out to dinner one night. They did everything from contacting the window repair company to sending chocolates and Champaign along with a hand written sportive apology to the room to make a bad situation better. What can you say about the thoughtfulness of that staff member and management that would hire such good people? I am in Seattle regularly and will never consider staying anywhere else regardless of cost.

Amazing girls "shop till you drop" getaway
The staff were outstanding. Scott made us reservations at the Wild Ginger restaurant - not to be missed. The scrumptious breakfast included with our room was delivered each morning by a cheerful and delightful gentlemen. And of course the hotel is so close to downtown shopping it was easy to pop back to the hotel to drop off our purchases and a short respite before heading back out for more shopping. Great hotel, great staff, great location!

Pleasent hotel staff was very helpful with recommendations for restaurants within walking distance of the hotel and information about city attaractions. Nice confortable and clean room with very nice bathroom (nice shower). Good Location. Self Park at the hotel - $30. per day (Appeared to be in line for downtown Seattle).

Long walk from hotel
The Brooklyn Grill (walking distance - not too long of a walk - from the hotel) has a nice Seattle varitiy special at the bar. 4 different oysters with either 4 different 3 1/2 oz mugs of beer ($12) or 4 different 2 1/2 oz glasses of wines ($14). A nice way to experience the very good oysters served in the Seattle restaurants. It was an enjoyable after work/before dinner treat.

Fabulous Location and Experience
This hotel is in a perfect location for shopping, eating and exploring downtown Seattle. You are a few blocks from the Pike Place Market and all the fabulous dining places. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a breathtaking view of the Seattle skyline and Starbucks was in our lobby. Imagine a Starbucks in Seattle! I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Excellent dining within as well.

Loved the decor of the room. Nice touches with robes and umbrella if needed. Did not have a "view" of the bay and/or space needle, but still enjoyable! Wished the room had a refrig/micro for leftovers, but other than that was a GREAT stay! Starbucks inside lobby was a plus for a quick morning grab! Ruth's Chris steak house was the BEST STEAK ever!

Great weekend in Seattle!
The hotel is 1.5 block away from the light rail (note: you can take the light rail from the airport). The service is great and the concierge was extremely helpful (his name was Scott). We walked to the famous Public Market (~7 blocks) and had dinner at the pier several times. In addition, the MONORAIL is a couple of blocks away and it will take you to the Space Needle. Great deal! There are some places to eat at the hotel and of course, Starbucks; but there are plenty of choices to eat/drink around the hotel. I will stay at this hotel again!!! Seattle was great!!!

Location, Location, Location.
The best thing about the Grand Hyatt is the location. I was able to step out of the hotel and into Seattle life. It's just a short walk to everything from shopping to restaurant to sites. Check in was efficient. Staff was cordial.

Had a great stay, could have used some free breakfast though..
Overall my wife and I really enjoyed our experience. We did not spend a large amount of time in the hotel, but our time in the hotel added to our trip, did not distract or hold back. The room was clean, comfortable and located well downtown. To stay in the room was not terribly expensive, however, the prices of things in and around the hotel were so much that we never did room service. We wanted to eat breakfast in bed, but not for $40.
