Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites SEATTLE-SEA-TAC AIRPORT

This hotel has serious plumbing and mangement problems. Given a room with a non-working toilet and no water faucet pressure. No management onsite and no one who would give us a comparable room. We took another room type due to the hour of our arrival. No apology from management ever received. Additionally no business/computer center, only one computer in the hallway for all guest to use.

ARRIVED AND CHECKED IN AT 11 PM. FOUND OUT . NO REST. OR BAR AS ADVERTISED. STAFF HAD SHUTTLE TAKE US TO ANOTHER LOCAL THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO HAVE BOTH OPEN 24/7. ONCE THERE FOUND BOTH HAD CLOSED AT 10PM AS NORMAL. NOW MID-NIGHT HAD TO TAKE SHUTTLE BACK TO 1ST HOLIDAY INN AND THAT DRIVER DROPPED US OFF, NOT AT THE FRONT DOOR, BUT IN THE SIDE PARKING LOT. MOST OF STAFF NOT AROUND, THEY LEFT A NEW GIRL TO SAY SHE WAS SORRY, SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE NIGHT MGR., SINCE THE PLACE THEY SENT US HAD CALLED AND TOLD THEM WHAT HAPPENED.WORST TIME W/HOLIDAY INN OF MANY THAT I HAVE STAYED IN.

I booked a room at this hotel using their web site and reserved the room with my credit card with the understanding that once I checked into the hotel I would be charged for the room. A last minute change to my itinerary prevented me from staying there and I was charged anyways. When I called hotel management to inquire I was told that it was my mistake for not canceling the room and I was charged full price. I asked for a portion of my bill ($133) reimbursed and I was told no, and after a couple minutes of making my point I was hung up on. The person I spoke to was[...], who is the owner. He never once asked why I couldn't make it to the hotel that night and did not even entertain the notion of reimbursing me a portion of my bill. When I told him that he's charging me full price for *not* staying there, he said "Yes that's right." [...]s customer relation skills are atrocious. I can only imagine what kind of negative affect that has on the people who work for him and ultimately what your stay will be like. You're better off finding another hotel.

Reserved the 2 bed queen (not standard room)non-smoking. Received smoking one bed king. Moved to standard room non smoking. Women next door had been moved three times before they had two beds. Pretty much a hassle at 9:00 p.m. Great breakfast!!

You have to fix the smell before I would recommend this hotel!

room reeked of cigarette smoke and was not clean upon check in. ok location cuz wanted place close to the airport. staff ok/helpful

We left our room late morning and told maid to clean room while we were gone. Evidently did not understand english. Left again at noon and told desk. Still not cleaned at 3pm. Tried our key cards later and found they did not work. 2 days later the 6am hot breakfast was not out until nearly 7am.

Location was great, real close to airport so it was easy to get to. Easy access, friendly staff. It wasn't real fancy but we were quite pleased overall. Breakfast time was 5am-10am with full breakfast; food was mediocre. We would stay there again.

The room was quite nice, and the staff was excellent. The biggest drawback was not having Wi-Fi in the rooms. Wi-Fi is only available in the lobby. You can hardwire in the rooms - but it wasn't quick and easy.
