Definitely met our hotel needs!
The hotel was within walking distance of downtown Seattle, the piers, Space Needle, etc. Our room was clean and spacious and provided a frig and microwave, which was really nice! It enabled us to have an early breakfast in our room before sightseeing, although the hotel also provides a very nice breakfast from 6:30-9:30 am. Fresh-baked cookies were out every evening. Though our room overlooked a roof, we didn't care since we were there to see the city, not stay in our room. Would definitely stay there again!

Great Place to Stay... Close to Hospital
We make frequent trips to Virginia Mason Medical Center. I've stayed at the best, The Sorrento, Crowne Plaza,Hotel Monaco and amazingly enough our stay at the budget priced La Quinta was one of the best. I believe in getting value for my money. The other places had cleanliness issues and not very welcoming staff. I didn't feel I received the service that I paid top dollar for. I will return to the La Quinta for my future stays.

Perfect price, just what we needed
I booked this based on other reviews and it was a good choice. The building is old and worn in some areas but the rooms are spotless and the beds are great. We also had a fridge and microwave which was more than we expected. Plenty of space in the rooms. Loved the two sinks! The free breakfast was more choices than I expected and good. The free parking and internet was very important to us and we were glad to have it. Right by a whole foods market. I will stay here again on my next Seattle visit.

Great jumping point
This hotel makes an excellent jumping point to explore the city. Free breakfast, free parking, and within walking distance to just about everything! The hotel was clean, with large rooms and comfortable beds. It was approximately 8 blocks to Pikes place market, maybe a 10 minute walk and the same distance to Seattle center where the Space Needle is. Free parking, free breakfast and walking distance around the city, all for a reasonable price - this place can't be beat.

If you're looking to go some place nice for dinner, call ahead to the restaurant and see if they have a shuttle. Many of the nicer restaurants downtown have a free shuttle service to pick you up and drop you back off at your hotel.

NIce Front desk help!
Staying at this hotel was great, it was in the middle of Seattle, I forgot to buy my sons' milk and it was around 9-10pm, I asked the front desk where can I buy some. She was Kind enough to give me milk from the breakfast. That was really great she did that. Also don't buy a TomTom for Seattle it will get you lost around the place you want to go, it has late timing. Breakfast was GREAT!!

Definitely a Must Stay
We were greeted by one of the managers, "[...]," who was very energetic, told us about the neighborhoods in the city, and where the "hip" places were in Seattle. He was so friendly and convincing that we followed his advice, and we had the most excellent time while in Seattle. The room was older but the bed was super comfortable, the pillows were plush (not the terrible foam kinds that are uncomfortable & give you neck cramps when you wake up) & provided a great sleep, a quiet location, and had 2 sinks (one in bathroom & one outside of bath) which allowed for both my friend & I to get ready at the same time!Overall, the location was great! We were in the middle of downtown but just a few blocks from Capitol Hill & I-5. If you are looking for the Ritz Carlton equivalent, this isn't your hotel. However, if you are looking for a hotel that gives you your money's worth, a great location, and a comfy night sleep, then I highly recommend this hotel!!**Sidenote, just 2 blocks from the biggest Whole Foods I have ever been in.

Shilla (Japanese/Korean food) is located right next to the hotel. It is a moderately priced restaurant but it is truly authentic and worth it! The food was excellent! However, be prepared to wait a while. The restaurant wasn't that busy when we were there, & we were waiting for a while for our food & drink refills.
