Not the best
It was not the nicest place I have ever stayed. However the staff was nice and helpful. The beds were comfortable but the room was not that clean. I had a great view of the river that was nice

Horrible
Arrived to find that my air conditioning didn't work. The maintenance person said it was fixed. It was not. To add insult to injury, construction was started at 8:00 AM. Oh yes, pounding on the walls, drilling, and hotel staff making tons of noise. All I can say is never again! Good luck to you if you stay at the Ramada Inn.

Cool Reception
The check in clerk was very cool and reserved as if I shouldn't have been there. Hotel under renovation limited food source in hotel.

Definitely not a 3 star hotel
Ice Machines on my floor and the floor below mine didn't work the entire 5 days that I was there even after I reported them broken. One day the housekeeping staff did not show up to clean the room or change the linens. The carpet in the room had a big black streak about 5 feet long just inside the door. The carpet in the room was not vacuumed once during the entire stay. I went to the front desk to get an envelope and waited for 4 minutes while the lady behind the counter conducted a personal phone call, then told me they didn't have any envelopes. On a positive note, the hotel is located right on the river across from a park where they hold a concert every Friday night. Access to several restaurants, the city offices and county courthouse, and the downtown mall is within a 10 block radius.

Family Reunion
The carpet had big stains on it. The furniture was old. We found a 22 buck shot in the night stand draw. We stay there about 4 years ago and the hotel was very nice and clean.

Has Potential, Needs Work
Staff was great and helpfull. Rooms were pretty clean, but very dated. Outlets that either did not work or were not secured to walls. Intermittent internet. Water stains on ceiling and bad patch jobs on walls. Needs some TLC. Fine for single guy travelling for work, but would not bring my wife or family here.
