Our stay started with the hotel greeting us at the airport to drive us into the hotel, a brilliant service and inexpensive. The staff are warm, welcoming, courteous and incredibly hospitable and helpful. The room was beautifully appointed, very clean and comfortable. The included breakfast was great. On my next trip to Hanoi I will most definitely be staying at either the Ruby or one of their sister hotels in the city centre. They do a brilliant job with impeccable service.

Fantastic staff especially Mr Long and Mr Zoom. Hotel staff friendly, helpful and courteous. Bell Boy don't accept tips and say he is happy to serve. Room spacious with all modern amenities and the free wifi and a laptop was a bonus. Breakfast has delicious choices. Travel books like Lonely Planet are on the reception shelf for loan free of charge. Good location for walk about to all touristic sights. Superb hotel with superb staff.

Nice, well located hotel with very helpful staff

The hotel is situated in the heart of the old quarter and has nicely decorated rooms with everything you'd expect at this price point. The staff were excellent, booking competitively priced tours, visa extensions and train tickets for us hassle free. They even accompanied us to the police station on two occasions to translate for us while we dealt with (the very unfriendly) police. (A word of advice, try not to get anything stolen in Hanoi, the police are extremely difficult to get a crime report from since new anti-bribery laws have been passed). The only issue with the Hotel was the loud building noise coming from above in the rooms on the higher floors. The staff however were very helpful again, moving us to a lower floor at our request. Definitely recommended.

This is the second time I have stayed here. I spent some time in Hanoi and stayed here, went to Halong and then came back. Both times I was made to feel very welcome and comfortable. Rooms both times were excellent. Very spacious and clean. One of the largest and nicest rooms I've stayed in at this price. Excellent. Recommended.

we recently stayed at Hanoi Imperial Hotel and we really enjoyed in the hotel. The hotel itself good in condition, spacious room, super clean and comfy bed. We loved to seat beside windows and drinking beer and see old quarter at night from our room. We also really satisfy with the hotel services: excellent complimentary buffet breakfast, friendly&helpful staff-they always tried to served us in every moment: early morning when we back from Sapa trip; late nigh when we walk around and getting lost...always with smiling and cheering! We thanks for such wonderful hotel-Hanoi Imperial. We love it

We found the staff and service at this hotel to be outstanding. We felt welcome from the moment we checked-in. If we required help with directions, taxi's, sim cards and advice, they bent over backwards ( probably more than one could expect) and made our stay one of the "best we have experienced." Breakfast was made to order each morning, and was outstanding. They even let us stay one morning after our return from Sapa, and have a sleep in a room plus shower and breakfast at no charge.......Would stay here again without checking any alternatives and will recommend to everyone.

What an experience!
We stayed 2 nights at this lovely iconic hotel.
Our original plan was to spend 1 night in the newe Opera wing and 1 night in the original historic wing, however after having experienced the new wing and the Club Sofitel facilities associated with it - there was no question about us changing our plans and upgrading to the new wing for the last night!
The service is spectacular, the staff are amazing, the hotel is breath-taking and the location is convenient.
My only regret was that we couldnt spend more time in Hanoi and at this amazing hotel.

I was in Hanoi for business and spent several days at the hotel. Every time I stepped out of my room, each member of the staff who met me said hello and asked how I was.
At 8:30 on Saturday night I found that I needed to be in Cambodia Sunday evening for a customer meeting. All travel agents were closed and the Vietnam Airlines web site showed no seats available on any Sunday flights.
I asked for help at the front desk and within ten minutes the clerk had tracked down a friend who works for Vietnam Airlines and had confirmed tickets for the 6:30AM Sunday flight from Hanoi.
This is the kind of service that makes me return to hotels and I will use the Hanoi Elegance 3 on all future trips to Hanoi.

The staff made us feel like family! I wanted to hug them when we left. They gave us all sorts of tips and made reservations. They greeted us warmly and were extremely attentive and talkative. I will never forget the experience here versus the experience at so many other hotels where I felt invisible. This was, perhaps, the best hotel I've visited around the world in terms of room, service, friendliness!!!!

This is busy Hanoi and the Vietnamese are not the most hectic of people.Allow plenty of time check out and room scrutinity.Hotel organised tour to Ha Long Bay was the best quality tour we took in Vietnam,there were alot worse.Rooms excellent standard,small but lacked nothing.Central location and helpful staff.We travelled three adults and one child(11)Buffet breakast catered well for ALL tastes.More than ample,for long day of touring.Elegance on the more pricey side but really worth it.

Customer service was by far the hotel's signature. Everyone was very friendly, welcoming, helpful and accommodating. Our room was very large and very clean. Their buffet breakfast (included in the price) was really very good, and they served some of the best coffee. One can't beat the hotel's location either - in the heart of city, close to everything. For the price, it is a GREAT value. I will definitely choose to stay there again whenever in Hanoi.

A nice hotel located near downtown Hanoi. Restaurants are around the area - beside the Roof Top Bar at Pacific Place which is a great place to view Hanoi at sundown; a famous Vietnamese al fresco restaurant called Quan An Ngon and in front of the UN office. Enjoyed my stay and if you are on business, a fine place to stay in.

A Gem in a fantastic location

This was the best hotel, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was really nice, with big windows and bathroom was nice with Jacuzzi. The friendliness of the staff was great. The hospitability was a bonus, they were always eager to help us, show us the direction to come, help us with taxi driver in Hanoi. I would stay here again for sure.

Modern design room, great windows view, high tech with touch screen console control, free wired & wireless internet, good location that can walk to many tourist attractions, Dong Xuan night market next to hotel I really love this hotel. Although the room is small but the nice design of the room, the good location, and the excellence of the staff here that can make it become perfect. The amenities of the room with 2 bottles of water, complementary tea and Vietnamese tea, coffee and 32 inch LCD TV with lots of channels. I really enjoy this hotel and will certainly come back again on my next visit.

Impressed by the warm and luxurious atmosphere of our lobby and reception - you will quickly feel at home. Boating 42 nicely designed rooms - they are large and well furnished with mini bar - LCD TV - air conditioning - safety deposit box and bathtub or standing shower. Most of the room has a panoramic view of the city. Restaurant - tour arrangement and massage service are also available on site. Hanoi Manor Hotel definitely the best choice for leisure and business travelers.

We absolutely felt very good because of its location, easily hanging out for shopping, always spoltess and cleaniness, our room quite big, quiet and boutique ambiance. We booked Halong bay trip with staff call Dung at good cuise, very happy and trendy.

We book manor hotel for its location and photos look lightly and amazing view.2nights staying here absolutely briliant,they asked for quick pick up from the airtport only 18$,room could not be better and even huge,streeting view over old streets.

I'd previously stayed in the Hilton on my previous visits to Hanoi, but it was full so I had to stay in the Nikko instead.
I'd say that the Nikko isn't as good as the Hilton (although both are, I believe, rated as 4 star). I was disappointed that the Nikko pool is not heated, and although they make a lot of effort with the buffet (different themes on different nights), the food is nothing special. Breakfast was also fairly basic, with limited choice.
In fact, the whole place looks as if it has seen better days. However, it's very popular with Japanese visitors.

We had a wonderful stay at Finnegan's Hotel. Viet and his staff were extremely attentive and very helpful in answering our questions throughout our whole stay. The location was excellent as was the quality and cleanliness of our room. To top it off, the free breakfast was fresh and healthy - a great way to start the day!

This is wonderful place. Family who runs this place is very friendly and nice. Next time when i go to Hanoi i will stay this place again.
This is new hotel so everything is in perfect condition.
Rooms are clean, hot shower and aircon works very well. Wifi is free and it works great and they have computers in some rooms and also in downstair lobby. There are flat tv and fridge in every room.
Location is also good. Lots of restaurants in few minutes walking distance and only under 10 minutes walking to lake area.
They also serve very good free coffee.
