Disappointing
It was very disappointing to arrive at such a lovely hotel to find out that it was miles from anything else. Every day, it was a long taxi ride into the city. I should have done more research...not a good hotel for a tourist. The breakfast was mediocre and not worth the money; most of the food was cold...no matter what time I arrived to eat. Room service food was not that good either; had to send my food back and still it was returned not cooked the way I requested. Very disappointing for a 5 star rated hotel.

Not what it should be!
I expected better from Crowne Plaza. Ok it is Hanoi, Vietnam - but they charge a lot and do not deliver. The bed was very hard, internet extra and expensive - bring a smart phone and buy a SIM card - save loads of money, breakfast was poor and also expensive - what should have been hot was cold and the cereal would not even come out of the contraption they had it in. Go out for Pho, save 90% compared to the hotel breakfast and it tastes much better. Location lacking also as just not much around that you can get to. Would try plenty of hotels in Hanoi before ever thinking about going back.
