Hanoi Asia Hotel is on the better end of the budget scale. All rooms are almost 31 square meters and have been tastefully restored to Boutique hotel Standards with Elevator. High speed Internet ADSL and Wifi access, 29 inch Cable TV. With warm home style hospitality and much more! Added to the benefit of spacious accommodation are continental [Western] and Asian breakfasts. Superbly situated in the heart of Hanois Historic Old Quarter. This area is characterized by narrow streets where people have carried out their trade for hundreds of years. Silks, art works, gold, silver, and giftware are all here. Only moments to Hoan Kiem Lake (Sword restored) Dong Xuan, Leather, and Night Markets, and fantastic places such as Temple of Literature, the Ancient Remnants of the Citadel, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and the famous Opera House. Not to mention restaurants, coffee shops, nightclubs, we can go on and on

Trash Hold with a Smell
If you want to sleep, so somewhere else. Their breakfast was eggs or bread. THe basket of fruit was two bananas. We were given a box spring for a bed. The bathroom was a total moldy disaster. There was no tub as stated just a nasty shower that was cleaned about 10 years ago. The smell of the place made one want to vomit. The noise was ungodly... Do not use them for Tours, what they wanted to charge $139 for we found right across the street at a travel agent for $45. Did I mention our bed was a box spring ? I must say though It did have acceptable AC.
