Wellington Hotel

Needed a place to stay on a short notice trip to NYC. Not the cheapest place but I'd say a good value.[...]Busy hotel, people always checking in and out but you only notice it in the lobby.

Wonderful Weekend in New York

Belinda, 20 Nov 2009

We went to 4 shows. And we went down to Greenwich Village one day. We walked to all the shows. No problem. We took the subway to Greenwich Village. 2 Subway stations right around the corner

New York Honeymoon

B&K Newlyweds, 19 Nov 2009

Service was good, room was clean - bathroom was spotless - but was dated. For the length of our stay, budget and sightseeing needs, it was really the perfect choice.

Entertainment Short walk from hotel

Go hang around the TKTS booth. Lots of opportunities to buy FABULOUS seats to a show.

Dining hint In Hotel

The coffee shop has great food at a good price, served quick. You have to work to get staff to attend to water refills, etc.

Entertainment Short walk from hotel

Hair revival is a real treat! I saw the original and don't remember having as much fun (tho I WAS 22 back then and trying to be cool and calm about everything). Actually, many musicals and plays to see and half-price tix are the best for a family. But often tickets are still at the box-office an hr or so before curtain; you're just taking a chance of course.
