Street noise is the problem
RichardK, 18 Nov 2009
The price was right and the location is in the heart of midtown. The bedroom and bathroom were small but clean and functional. However we were on the third floor facing the street and the noise

An aging hotel in a good location; for the same amount/night I stayed at the Breakers.

The coffee shop has great food at a good price, served quick. You have to work to get staff to attend to water refills, etc.

Hair revival is a real treat! I saw the original and don't remember having as much fun (tho I WAS 22 back then and trying to be cool and calm about everything). Actually, many musicals and plays to see and half-price tix are the best for a family. But often tickets are still at the box-office an hr or so before curtain; you're just taking a chance of course.

Fluffy's beats the adjacent deli prices. PAX Wholesome Foods is great too. Chinese restaurant at 50th near 8th is a great bargain too. $10 for full meal. Adjacent to the Duane Reade.
