Loose a week to The White Isle.

Ibiza is undoubtedly a beautiful island with fabulous weather, perfect beaches and attractive scenery. But let’s face it, the main reason most people book cheap holidays to Ibiza is for the nightlife. This is the clubbing capital of the world, with unbelievable mega-venues throbbing 365 days a year. The best thing is – you can have an unforgettable holiday here on a modest budget; flights to Ibiza are reasonable, and there are plenty of cheap hotels in Ibiza, though you may not spend a whole lot of time in your room…

What to take

This is truly a Mediterranean party paradise where anything goes, so leave your plan to get outrageous! It’s not uncommon to dance the night away in little more than a bikini, and obviously the beaches require little else, so you’ll be packing light! Flip-flops are the footwear of choice, and instead of a bag, consider one a discreet travel pouch that sits invisibly under your clothes – easy access to club money without restricting your dance moves.

Where and when to go

Clubs are clustered in two areas of Ibiza; Ibiza Town and San Antoni. The mammoth Privilege and El Paradis are two of the best known, while places like Pacha, Space, Eden and Amnesia also pull in huge crowds right up to sunrise. Music is almost completely techno, house and trance, and most are open 7 days a week, up to 22 hours per day. Riotous season opening parties happen in June, while October sees many world famous DJs finishing their summer runs. When you’re all danced out, the best place to see the sunrise is in the famous Café del Mar, and if you’re lucky, you’ll hear about one of the secret beach parties, thrown by various clubs in the summer months.

Recharge the batteries

Just ten minutes from the music and mayham of the port area is Maritimo Hotel, an fantastic-value hotel in Ibiza sitting right on Figueretas beach.
For something a little more grown-up, another of the impressive hotels in Ibiza is the Gran Sol Hotel. Situated in a more tranquil area of San Antoni, it offers large airy rooms, a pool and nearby beach.
