Enter the Athens World of Magic!

From 21st November to 10th January, the Christmas Magic World in Athens is the world’s largest Christmas park and is bound to make the number of people taking a Christmas holiday to Athens soar this year. It’s a fantastic place to visit as a family with performances, shopping and choir singing to keep you all entertained.

Family Fun

Based in the centre of Athens, with access to all forms of transport and a doctor on call 24 hours a day, the Parnon Hotel is a great place for the family to stay when wanting to enjoy the delights the Christmas Magic World has to offer. Getting to the kids to the various creative workshops that are taking place during the festive period at Magic World will be easy from this hotel and the outdoor markets are bound to keep Mum happy this Christmas too.

The Christmas Magic World has theatrical and dance-based performances scheduled every day for all the family to enjoy. Children will enjoy the many different activities they can experience without having Mum and Dad in tow as well. Parents will have time for themselves this Christmas if making full use of the magical entertainment on offer.

Christmas Magic World and History Combined

However, a trip to Athens doesn’t only have to be about Christmas Magic World. Book into the Chic Hotel and bask in the nearby archaeological sites that Athens has to offer at the same time. Hadrian’s Arch, built in AD 131 by the Athenians to honour their emperor, is an awesome structure to visit one Christmas morning, before racing against the kids as they scramble towards the skies on the Magic World climbing walls during the afternoon.

The Apollo Hotel is a prime location for visiting the Acropolis Hill or ‘Sacred Rock’; a historian’s dream based in Flaka, also known as the Old Town of Athens. The Acropolis during the day, followed by outdoor ice-skating at the Christmas Magic World in the evening, might be just the way to spend Christmas Eve this year with your family.

Flights to Athens run regularly and the variety of Athens hotels available makes the booking process quick and simple during the festive period.

So why not book yourself in for a very merry Athenian Christmas?
