Cyprus Holidays
According to mythology, the goddess Aphrodite was the first to walk onto the shore of the island of Cyprus. Today, Cyprus serves as one of the top romantic holiday destinations in the world. Its beautiful beaches and clear waters attract millions of visitors each year, far outnumbering the island's one million inhabitants.
In addition to being a romantic holiday site, Cyprus is also an island with thousands of years of inhabitation. There are several archaeological sites scattered all over the island, with recovered artefacts dating back to 1100 BC. Among these sites is the Bronze Age city of Kition covered by the modern City of Larnaca and the Sanctuary of Aphrodite outside of Palaepaphos. A trip to Cyprus can provide you with memories that last a lifetime. Inexpensive flights can be found using ebookers, as well as hotel rooms for your stay on the island.

Best time to take a holiday to Cyprus
-
The best time to visit Cyprus depends on just how large a crowd you're willing to be a part of. The tourist season is largely during the summer. The weather is great for spending time at the beaches, with temperatures between 22 and 37°C on average. The summer nights cool down a bit, allowing comfortable enjoyment of late nights out on the towns. The kids on Cyprus are out of school during the summer, however, so you may find the beaches and restaurants crowded during the peak of the season, and prices may slightly elevate.
