Great central hotel, very clean comfortable rooms. Easy check in. Bar facilities and bar staff could be improved eg more variety in drinks and maybe introduce cocktails as there is lots of competition in union square.
Great location. Terrible breakfast and tiny room dirty tables and uncleared plates along with a phone that didn’t stop ringing for 15 minutes
Clean, very comfortable beds, great service. Iron and ironing board standard.
Close to bars, shops and restaurants. Car psrking next to it was £12 for 24 hours. Would highly recommend for a short stay in Aberdeen.
Incredibly poor breakfast. Pale, undercooked, poorly presented hot food. So bad that we went out to get breakfast on second morning. Reception staff were only saving grace.
First time I have stayed at this hotel & it won't be the last. The room was really nice with a lovely large shower. The breakfast was cooked to order & was a nice change from eggs etc lying for ages. The staff were all really nice. The hotel is in an excellent location in the centre of Aberdeen, ...
Steeped in history, Aberdeen Harbour serves as a port of call for cruise ships, shipping operations, and a base for several ferry operations. The site is over eight centuries old and traces back to King David I who granted bishops of the city to levy a tithe on those trading in the port. The River Dee has a sheltered estuary and is a natural harbour.
Want to explore the history of the area? The Aberdeen Maritime Museum hosts exhibits about the city's relationship with the sea from early fishing vessels to the North Sea oil exploration. In addition, exploring Footdee makes for a nice outdoor walk. Located at the mouth of Aberdeen Harbour, this area started as a medieval fishing village, but was refitted in 1809 to host the local fishermen. Visitors can continue walking to the Aberdeen Beach, which is popular with surfers and windsurfers.
