I received a professional and friendly check in and check out process and this was a positive experience. Unfortunately I was less than impressed with having to take my 'room service' meal up to my room after having it delivered to the bar. The soup was balanced on cutlery at the edge of the tray and promptly toppled off on arrival at my room. I reported this immediately in person at reception only to be told they will take it off the bill. The mess was still there, with broken crockery and prawns all over the corridor, the next morning. On checking out I also found it hadn't been taken off the bill. However the saving grace was the receptionist who did so and was a credit to the hotel. Disappointing service by some, excellent by others.
