The mini refrigerator in the room did not work but aside for that everything else was great!!! recomend the hotel 100%

Quiet hotel in central Alicante- convenient for ev

Stayed for five very pleasant nights in April. Went to other La City hotel in Alicante first , but staff kindly directed me to Mercado which is in a perfect location, right in centre amongst cafes and shops. I had a courtyard room but Mark very kindly swapped me to a room looking into very busy but not noisy city street. Mark also spoke to me in Spanish - so many Spaniards swap to English making it very hard to practice the language. Hotel is small, only four rooms on each floor, very quiet and very clean. Good breakfast served by lovely Spanish lady. Only criticism is that it's a (quite fantastic) shower and I like a bath, so no criticisms at all. Great value hotel in central location. Thanks

Um 9:00 Landung - um 10:00 Ankunft am Hotel. Der Flughafenbus C06 hält 130m entfernt praktisch vor dem Hotel. Konnten das Zimmer sofort belegen !!! Sehr freundliches Personal auf allen Beschäftigungsebenen. Morgens ab 7:30 erwartet, sofern mitgebucht, ein umfangreiches Buffet die Gäste. Hatten das Zimmer 102 zur Straße. Der Verkehr ist zu hören, aber die Lautstärke ist trotzdem erträglich. Es gibt auch Zimmer zur Hofseite. Leider ließ sich die Klimaanlage nicht per Fernbedienung steuern. Sie wird über ein zentrales Programm gesteuert. Preis-Leistung für die gezahlten 61€/N incl. Frühstück hervorragend.
