Lovely stay

Pros: Lovely room with a huge, comfortable bed, balcony with pool and sea view. Good value for money, opposite beach.
Cons: I would say that the food was more three star rather than four. Being out of season, it was quite a long walk along the seafront to find any restaurants open, although there were a couple of beach bars. Glad we were half board!

Schönes Hotel in ruhiger Lage

Pros: Guter Service, nettes Personal, Umfang und Qualität des Essens. Sauberkeit und Geräumigkeit des Zimmers
Cons: SPA-Bereich (Indoor) ist immer kostenpflichtig, das könnte zumindest in den Wintermonaten inklusive sein wenn der Pool schon gesperrt ist.
Location: Dorf Almunecar kann fußläufig erreicht werden, Motril ist 20 Autominuten entfernt. Nach Malaga oder Granada fährt man in ca. 1 Stunde.
Anreise mit dem Pkw war unproblematisch, seitlich des Hotels waren auch ein paar kostenfreie, öffentliche Parkplätze verfügbar. Bushaltestelle wäre außerdem direkt neben dem Hotel. Zum Kiesstrand sind es knapp 100 m. Wir hatten ein geräumiges Zimmer im 3. Stock mit großem Bad, einem 2 m breiten Bett (2x 1m breite Betten zusammengestellt) einer Couch sowie Balkon (in Richtung Ost). Die Einrichtung war sehr sauber und gut gepflegt Halbpension in Buffetform mit guter Auswahl an (kalten) Vorspeisen, verschiedenen Hauptspeisen und mehreren Nachspeisen bzw. Obst - qualitativ voll in Ordnung. Getränkepreise recht anständig: Flasche Wasser 2,40 EUR, Glas Wein 2,20 EUR. Aufgrund der Größe bzw. Anzahl an Gästen ist es im Speiseraum recht laut. Der Pool war bei unserem Aufenthalt Mitte Februar noch gesperrt & keine Liegen am Meer (war auch etwas kalt). WLAN gab es in allen Bereichen kostenfrei mit ausreichender Geschwindigkeit. Der SPA-Bereich mit Pool, Jacuzzi und Sauna kostet leider 15 EUR p.P. Aufpreis
