ECONOMY ROOM

I always get thr cheapest prIce when we travel. We paid 440$ for a flight and a hotel accomodation for 5 days and 4 nights. It was cheap. The room is good but we had no plugs near our bed. The bathroom is small but it was fine

Good for location but rooms aren't great

Given a room for 3. After looking at the pics, it's the same as a double but they just replace dressing table with a bed. So that meant we had no mirror and No table of any sort. Rubbish considering when you've got a room for 3, and someone's in the shower, don't have access to a mirror so can't even get ready!! Minimal lighting. Our room was so dark. Doesn't justify the price. Location is great though, easy to get to all main touristy places.

City break

Stayed as a couple 6-9 September. After reading some of the previous reviews was a bit apprehensive. No need a fabulous hotel highly recommended good location lovely staff breakfast fantastic.(make sure you take this option best bacon ever) . Rooms cleaned every day new towels .There is also a small bar and lounge to relax in with complimentary iced water ..Airport bus stops just up the road £5 euros single. Don't believe all that you read highly recommend so much so my daughter and friends have booked there for October. Last thing huge huge thank you to lady on reception for printing our boarding passes lovely gesture (not very tech minded lol)

Near to trams

Pros: Large comfy bed
Cons: Furniture in room was very dated, and shower was ok, but needs improvement
Location: Location was near to trams - top of road Bars, restaurants in walking distance Park across road
Stayed here for a few days in November 2016. Pleasant hotel, comfy big beds, great after a days sightseeing. Restaurants, bars in walking distance. Staff polite. Sometimes they would serve at the hotel bar, sometimes not, seemed to be dependant on person. Breakfast is 12 euros, we did ate out, local pancake place at top of street., and bakery around the corner. Would stay here again for a short visit to Amsterdam. Thoroughly enjoyed our short break.

Near museum quarter

Nice hotel near the Vondelpark, museum quarter and easy access to trams. We asked for air con as this isnt available in all rooms. Limited breakfast offering but good quality products. Room was of average size but lack of table/desk to put things so ended up using the window sill! No tea/coffee facilities in room but this tends to be the case in most european hotels. The staff were friendly on the most part but didn't offer any suggestions of things to do or places to eat. Most hotels we have stayed at would offer this information. For example if they could get tickets to things such as Anne Frank House or the Van Gogh Museum. Maybe this is a service that a 3 star hotel in Amsterdam doesn't offer? The free wifi was great and much needed, we have been caught out in the past when "free wifi" means in the public areas only. Overall a good hotel which was comfortable and quiet and with added bonus of a lovely garden. Would consider staying here if we return to Amsterdam.
