Superb hotel in an excellent location

Pros: friendly and very comfortable
Cons: spa/pool
I am so pleased to have finally found the best hotel in Amsterdam, having stayed at numerous other hotels in this city the Park hotel shines like a beacon. We arrived very early yet the reception were very helpful, allowing us to store our luggage until our room was ready. The young lady who checked us in was a credit to her profession.I'm sorry that I didn't get to thank her for her help We were in Amsterdam for our anniversary which I had mentioned during check in. When our room was ready we were so happy to find the room had been set up with fine chocolates and rose petals. Not only this we were then offered a visit to Glasson diamond factory with champagne!! Then to go one step further we awoke to find a free voucher to use at the hotels bar. these little touches meant so much to us. We will definitley return to this hotel.it is the best. Thank you to all who made it so special for us.

Nice hotel and excellent location near biggest museums. Staff was really nice and helping most of the time, but it wasn't quite 4 star hotel that it claimed to be. Our room was in top floor and elevators go only to 4th floor. No one brought oir luggage up and we were too tired to ask. Breakfast was too expencive. Luckily there was nice places within walking distance. Our room was really confy, but bathroom and shows were just milky glass cubilcles. We weren't bothered, but some might. Not much privacy there.

A very good hotel

The hotel is located in the museum quarter which is ideal location for all areas in Amsterdam and is near to the 197 bus route which goes to the airport. Staff were excellent and very helpful with all queries we had. Check in was fast. Our room was on the small side, but maybe we should have booked a bigger one, so can't blame the hotel for that. The bed was soft which was not good for my back injury. The room service staff were excellent. We had breakfast one morning in the hotel restaurant and it was good. I would definitely book again, but would go for a bigger room and ask for a harder bed.

Hmmmmmm!!!

Booked a superior room with a queen size double bed, arrived to find a twin!! Went and told them to do something to rectify this, best they could come up with was to tell me they can push beds together and put a double mattress topper on the bed. Came back to the room nothing was done, saw them next day and complained but it still never got sorted. Room was decent and bed comfortable but bare faced lying staff!!
