The hotel is very conveniently located. However, the cleanliness of the corridors and room was poor. The staff lack proper training and in general the service quality was disappointing.

NIce hotel close to railway station

Pros: Convenience for the railway station and the theatre
Cons: Turn the heating down!
Location: Excellent theatre on the same square. Wintin easy reach of the shopping centre and sites.
Comforable beds with good facilities in the rooms, good leisure facilities, excellent food. Very convenient for travellers as the hotel is just across the square from the central railway station. Easy walk to the city centre for shopping and site seeing. Also on the same square as the newly refurbished Elizabeth Centre and theatre. Our only adverse comment would be that the hotel is too warm! We turned our heating off and had the window open but the heat was still oppressive at times!

I would firstly like to apologize for the inconvenience caused by the heat in your room during your stay; The reason for this was that during your stay we had not completely switched from Winter to Summer mode to be able to accommodate guests that would feel cold. Keine Minibar. Die Decke im Badezimmer blätterte ab. Das Duvet stank nach alt/verfault (aber nur anfangs), bis sich der Geruch verflüchtigt hatte (1 Tag). Matratze war zwar sehr weich, aber angenehm. Auf dem Balkon stand noch ein Glas voller Zigarettenstummel. Wurde nie weggeräumt. Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Das Hotel liegt gleich am Bahnhof, aber das Quartier ist sehr dreckig und es hat überall gestunken. Der Aufenthalt war insgesamt in Ordnung. Ich würde jedoch nicht wieder dort buchen.

.A wonderful hotel next to the railway station The staff was very friendly and polite, and breakfast is an experience in a big room with large Windows.
