Located in Arras, ibis Arras Centre Les Places is in the city centre. Grand Place and Place des Heros are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Nautical Base of Saint-Laurent-Blangy and Arras Golf. Our guests appreciate the hotel's central location.
This hotel is in an excellent location between the two big squares. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. It has a cosy feel, helpful staff, comfortable bed, good wifi, and elevator. Walking distance to the train station, grocery store, tourism office and more. All of this, when considering the price, makes this a highly recommended hotel.
Twin room was VERY small, but clean. Lots of noise from outside. Breakfast was very good! Difficult to drive to, despite GPS. Staff very nice!
Surely this isn’t part of the Ibis Chain? Rooms are from the 80’s, the Dinner Menu had all items unavailable bar one which I think I saw the staff just microwaving and putting on a plate, at checkout I had the rudest girl chuck the receipt at me. Apologies I can’t speak French.. but if it makes you that angry perhaps don’t work in hospitality in a town frequented by English speaking people!
This property is 1 block from the main square, 1/2 a block from a church (where I inadvertantly crashed a wedding) and quick walking distance from the train station. By the way, do not trust the prices you see online for the trains as many are bogus.
